Was doing my weekly shop with my 15 year old daughter when I noticed a worker was watching us on an empty Isle went to the till loading my shopping on the conveyor when my daughter was confronted by the lady who had been watching us and was accused of stealing which is bad enough but she waited till there was people around that we knew which was very embarrassing for my daughter .I have shopped at asda for more than 30yrs and never been so embarrassed in all my life then spoke to the man on the cctv he was rude cocky and adamant that he was right so we watched it with him then he realised he was wrong I had to tell him that he should apologise which he did but was still very rude.i spend on average £200 a week in your store but from now on I will take my business elsewhere.

My wife and my 7 month old son visited Asda Farnworth on the 7th June. Prior to coming into Asda my wife had shopped in Icelands. Due to the fact that my wife was pushing my son in his pram, she had opted to carry some of the shopping she had planned on purchasing from Asda and had also put some inside reusable bag. Asda employees immediately approached my wife and stated she was under ‘suspicion’ and decided to put their hands inside her bag and rummage around. My wife clearly explained that some shopping she had just purchased from Iceland and some she had planned on purchasing from Asda. Without obtain any consent from my wife the staff member looked and rummaged through my wife’s shopping and then also took out shopping which my wife had purchased elsewhere. My wife is new in this country however surely the shop staff are up to date with the law which clearly stipulates bag searches are to be done in private and by an SIA registered security and even then only after permission and consent has been sought from the customer.Furthermore my 7 month old son was caused severe distress. My wife was caused embarrassment. In a store full of other customers who are known to us in the community she was forced to justify her shopping and eventually went to Iceland and obtained a valid receipt to illustrate and evidence the items she had previously purchased from there.I would like an investigation into this matter and I would like to know under what rules and regulations were staff allowed to publicly humiliate my wife and allowed to go through her bags. This is a complete abuse of power by your staff members and we are disgusted by this behaviour. Under what grounds was my wife placed under ‘suspicion’ by the Asda Police or was this a case of racial profiling. I would like to be contacted directly. You have said to contact you directly by DM on Facebook but your don’t have an option to DM you on FB. Hence can you email me directly.

Never will i set foot in this Asda again. This week was the 6th (no exaggeration) and final occasion of me purchasing food over 10 days out of date. Completely lost trust in this place, i shouldn't have to check every item i pick up at a supermarket just to make sure its in date when someone else is paid to do this daily. Completely unacceptable and incompetent. I will be raising this further, store management didn't seem bothered about addressing this on the previous occasion either.

Impossible to know where to start. This store is now so disorganised it beggars belief from requiring a trolley small, on arrival to getting out at checkouts,a total embarrassment. This company has taken over a store that was far better run under the ASDA original ownership and is looking at not being far off its knees. If anyone is reading this in the head office and would like me to be more specific please get in contact and I will be more than happy to explain in detail .

I currently work here so I can give both sides from a customers point of view and a workers point of view.As a worker:You're underpaid and you're overworked. If you work 6:00AM - 10:00 AM you are NOT allowed it have a 10 minute break. It's a case of having work at very fast speed, going back and forth getting another cargo. Bending, pulling and stretching. Other team members are always calling each other behide other team members backs. It's a horrible atmosphere it be in. Other members in the stroe simple don't care. I've seem with my own eyes people at THIS store throw food around the store and leave out of date food on display. As a customer:I use to shop here but after working here I can now see why people are leaving 1 star reviews on google. The store is a mess. Staff don't care at all. Empty cardboard left in the shelves. Out of date food left in the shelves. Staff are unhelpful and don't know where items are within the store. After this experience, as a worker and a customer I will NEVER be going to another Asda ever again!

Very terrible. I bought a hoover and it stopped working after 1 month of purchase. Took it to farnworth Asda and the blonde female who is a supervisor for the store was like you have to contact manufacturer but it was well within that 12 month garantee rubbish. Their policy says different and their staff seem to struggle to abide by the policy really unhelpful. Will not be going to that store m. Staff there need serious training. Rude stuck up and it’s like they don’t actually want to do their job of helping customer this was 16.12.23 . Hope that blonde lady gets some serious customer service training she was awful rude no manners looked like she wasn’t bothered to help.

The staff here are so rude and disrespectful. They even talk about you to other staff members in front of you. Due to this I left and didn't buy what I went in for. They have no customer service and would rather spend my money somewhere else.
