Clifton Villa Veterinary Surgery - Camborne

Was told they no longer accept vouchers for cat neutering but on the following visit we was told that they do still take vouchers so we were £40+ out of pocket

They are rarely if ever on schedule with appointments which is frustrating when you have arranged your day to fit in a visit with them.They also don't seem to have grasped the common courtesy involved in picking up the phone and rescheduling, which is proven to work so well in every other facet of modern life.That being said the team are all brilliant with our silly little dog which is why this review is a three and not a two

Took my puppy first time for injections and went great very friendly experienced vet and all went smoothly. 4 weeks later my girlfriend took her for the second injection and had an inexperienced vet/nurse told my girlfriend to leave the room presumably they held her down she screamed the vets down.All it would have taken is for someone to hold a treat in one hand while they give the injection like the fist injection she had.

Thank you for all of your kindness with Dinky and figuring out what was wrong with her. She's having teeth extracted on 29th Jan and I know she'll be safe in your hands. On second consultation I wasn't charged a penny and that was amazing. Thank you. Also, I made a mistake on time on second consultation but you still got her in when I turned up. Amazing practice. Recommend to anyone.

Our dog was very ill whilst we were on holiday (terminally as it so sadly turned out) and the lady vet couldn't have been more kinder or competent or professional

Excellent, staff treated my dog with absolute love and care and they are friendly and amazing and I trust them with my dog

Wanted my dog to see a vet but they don't have vets here very often. What's the point in that

When the Parkers ran this business it was the best practice I had ever used. They knew me and my animals.I recently took a very damaged dog to the practice which has passed to a faceless big business concern - he had life threatening injuries- and was sent away with totslly inadequate treatment and the impression I was wasting their time .photo shows closed scarring from extensive chemical burns. They had the bald cheek to charge £109 for a botched and utterly careless examination.The Vet I then took my dog to seeking some desparatly urgent help tried to defend them - the usual closing ranks nonsense - but I think that the lack of care at Clifton was little short of wilfull negligence.If I were not so old poor and ill I would sue them til the pips squeakTheir reply - standard and faceless - only adds to the distress of the entire episode.⁹
