Female owner was rude on entry and condescending.Food portion was incredibly small for the price.Dry, overcooked.Very slow service time.Would prefer to travel to Huby or Easingwold.

Amazing chippy. Chips are second to none, not the usual standard chips you get everywhere. Staff are friendly and helpful. I stopped in the area whilst traveling with my wife and the owner could see we were a bit lost and in need of food. Would highly recommend!

Found the fryer i bit abrupt and assumed every one wanted haddock even though cod was on offer, chips were soggy and soft, asked for scraps still getting them!! Will never go again even if they were the only one open, YUK!!!!!

Very disappointing. Chip portions were tiny for the price and the fish was extremely greasy. Staff were unfriendly. Cash only, no cards. Still enforcing strict mask and social distancing policies.
