Bughties Nursing Home

Management stressed me out .. at the end I felt I wasn't getting listend too. Thankful from all the carers that helped me

The Bughties is a very friendly home with trained specialist staff who care at high standards for our elderly residents. A lot of the staff go beyond their job roles to look after the residents. They treat them with respect and make the residents stay a pleasant one as they are treated as one of the family. The grounds are stunning with views over the Tay in Broughty Ferry, most of our bedrooms have these stunning views. I would not hesitate to put my loved one here for care.

Home is doing great with new management and clear to see they are investing in all the departments. Great work by management and staff.

A homely environment fit to care for those in need, specialising in frailty, dementia and end of life care. A dedicated care team willing to go beyond for their residents and each other.

The bughties is an absolute joke.I wouldn't put my goldfish in there, if I had one.Trying to upgrade the building with atrocious care just doesn't cut it.The care inspecorate will have their work cut out.

Iv started working for bughties nursing home and my experience so far has really been really amazing lovely people working along side of you help there when needed, your never alone, the residents who we care for are so different from each other but that's what's great about it you meet so many residents you get on great with them, at every shift of work you do, you feel so proud of your self because you have done a great job putting smiles around and knowing you've made someone's day weather it's personal care, sit with them,etc. .. but not all residents have someone so when they see the carers to get them up of a morning you feel the warmth in there eyes there pleased to see you. I go home smiling because i know iv made someone's day.
