I have been using ashlands vets for 30 yrs. Always professional and always careing. My 11 yr old chesapeake was subject to a random dog attack. She has a very nasty open wound on her back and is currently having treatment.

Excellent experience with a difficult 'patient'. My dog is very reactive, to both humans and dogs whom he thinks are a threat, and so visits to the vets have been avoided. On this occasion we had to go, for a minor op. My concerns about how my dog could be handled were listened to, worked with, and very importantly I was not made to feel like an over-anxious or neglectful owner.Receptionists and vets Sam and Elli, thank you.Anyone with a difficult reactive dog, don't worry, just give Ashlands a ring!

Ashlands Veterinary Centre are excellent my airedale has a number of problems and we visit the vets regularly. I have always found that the treatment my dog receives is of the highest standard. I have every confidence in recommending Ashlands.

Ashlands vets always go the extra mile for animals in their care. When my Newfoundland was an in patient, they called me throughout the day and evening to give me progress reports. Let me visit outside normal opening hours. Memorised lots of little things that would make my dog feel comfortable and make her feel at home. The staff genuinely care about their charges and give sensible practical advice. They call in specialists when needed and provide an excellent all round service. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our cat has needed lots of help from Ashlands over the last year. We have always been accommodated, often at a moments notice, once in the middle of the night! Our furry boy (and his owners) were treated with compassion and realism every time; we received regular updates with photographs whilst he was an inpatient. We have seen just about every Vet and Nurse in the practice, and they have all been amazing. Would highly recommend.

Ashland Vets are brilliant! I am there quite frequently as my dog has epilepsy and all the staff are excellent! He has had fantastic care to treat his condition and they are always there at the end of the phone should I have any worries or questions that come to light. Thank you team Ashlands!

Incredibly compassionate service here. Myself and my partner had two consultations here over the past week; the latter of which we unfortunately chose to put down our pygmy hedgehog today after her health declined overnight. We really do appreciate the efforts made to save our little hog and how we were met with upmost sympathy and consideration when it came to the difficult decision of letting her go.Massive thanks to the vet Sam who was by us every step of the way and the lovely vet (didn’t catch her name) who assisted with our hedgehog’s euthanasia today - the entire experience was peaceful and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Lovely vets, seen last minute on a Saturday morning when we found a large wound on my cat. Seen and sorted that day. Very pleasant staff and explained all that was needed to be done. Highly recommended.

I couldn't recommend Ashlands Vets enough. I have a very nervous house cat and he doesn't like going anywhere but the Vet and staff at Ashlands deal with this extremely well and I would like to thank everyone for providing such an excellent service.

The receptionists are always helpful, particularly Sue, and I never have an issue getting an appointment.The vets I have see recently have been great. Aaron and Hannah in particular are brilliant and really show care and compassion with animals.Cannot recommend you all enough, thank you for everything you do.
