a beautiful place for a walk... sadly we were just a few weeks too early to see the bluebells but I can imagine it's beautiful when it happens! An ancient iron age hill fort - a lovely spot!

The carpet of blue bells is amazing and so well looked after. There are several different walks that you can do depending on your fitness level and mobility but definitely worth a visit if you love the outdoors. There is no entrance fee but there is pay and display parking.

Such a peaceful national trust site with little activity areas and well marked tracks. It is a nice walk through the woods and, when blooming, the bluebells are gorgeous.

If you want to take a break from work or you want to spent some quality time with family this is a right place. The parking for 2hrs cost you £2 & for all day £4. You can build your own hurt with dried branched and sticks. If you want click some nice photo for your family or kid it’s a best place with natural prop. There is a cycle trai available too. Once you are done can have a scope of icecream at exit gate.

Absolutely beautiful place to go for long or short walks with your family. Car park available. Went in April during the Bluebells season. Stunning. Plus the Rapeseed and the yellow flowers it produces against the clear blue summer skies is just stunning. Not crowded and very peaceful.

Enchanting place with the bluebells out. We were slightly early, visited in mid-April and whilst there was a good show, it must be even more spectacular with a thick carpet of bluebells. There is a small carpark and it was quite busy when I visited. If I came again, I think I would visit early morning so I would have the place to myself.

Lovely place to come to walk the dog. Especially beautiful in April/May when the bluebells are in bloom. Many tracks to explore and fun for kids and adults alike. There is a £2 charge in the carpark now or free for National Trust members. There is usually an ice cream van in the car park but no toilet facilities.

Beautiful Bluebell fields, a great place for mountain biking and walking in the woods. Parking can be tight, as the car park fills quickly. Always an ice cream van there in spring and summer..

The summit of the hill is the site of an Iron Age hill fort known as Badbury Camp. It is roughly circular in shape, most of which was levelled early in the 19th century. It has been suggested as a possible site of the 5th or 6th century Battle of Mons Badonicus, where King Arthur defeated the Anglo-Saxons. It is now a wooded area, known locally as Badbury Clump, of roughly nine acres, swathed in bluebells in May and is a well-frequented local recreation area, for walkers, dog-owners and mountain biking. It is now in the care of the National Trust, free for members, or Pay & display, so don't forget some change.

Enchanting scenery. Bluebells under trees and in green field. Quiet which is good for meditation. Walking in the forest under warm sunlight cleanses mind. Really place for a retreat of an hour.
