Rob fitted a half-set wash basin and counter-top, fitted cupboards and wall cupboard, and tiled the walls. He is a most careful and thoughtful worker as well as being a most pleasant person, and this resulted in a perfect job being done, and believe me I am very particular and fussy. I am highly delighted with his work and cannot fault it in any way.Richard was the electrician who fitted new sockets and illuminated mirrors as well as doing some remedial electrical work. He is a quick, accurate, and neat worker and, like Rob, I cannot fault his work. He was a pleasant person to have around the house, along with his assistant.Jamie was in overall charge and he co-ordinated everything well. Extremely happy with my new bathroom. Obtained name from local classified directory and researched the very detailed website. I was able to show Chris some ideas of what i wanted which he completely understood and was able to contribute to with design ideas of his own. The estimate was detailed and comprehensive. The work was started and completed on time with the minimum disruption, bearing in mind that this is the only bathroom and toilet in the house. The guys working on the project were hardworking as well as polite and good humoured. I felt they were entirely trustworthy and was more than happy to entrust them with keys when i was not present. They cleaned up after themselves every night. I am completely delighted with the finished result and am happy to recommend this firm to anyone. PS they were nice to the dog as well!!

Chris and his team recently worked on our bathroom, fitting a brand new suite, shower &screen and tiling and painting. Everything looks amazing an I would highly recommend their services to everyone. From the initial contact with Chris, it was clear that they genuinely care about their customers. Chris's pricing was also very competitive and everything was laid out and priced individually which enabled us to have flexibility over was we did and didn't want when it came to our budget. Everyone involved was in the job was very knowledgeable and highly experienced and all worked together very well. Really happy with the service provided. Chris demonstrated excellent communication skills throughout and gave good advice about what would be required and how to save money (knowing that we were on a budget). His men came on time, were not too disruptive and finished the job on time. The result was very pleasing and when I noticed a fault in one of the tiles put down they came relatively quickly and fixed it straight away.I would definitely recommend The Bathroom Guru to anyone looking to update or completely redesign their bathroom.

An outstanding service! Chris and his team performed a large bathroom refitting project for us over a two-week period just before Christmas 2014. This could have made for a very stressful run-up to the holidays, but they managed the whole process in a very smooth and professional way.I chose Chris because I had been impressed with the careful descriptions of his methods on his web-site. Our project entailed taking everything back to bare brick, as well as knocking a toilet and bathroom into a single suite. Chris's team were all skilled, professional, reliable and considerate. Estimates were detailed and accurate, timetabling was precise, and the standard of the work was very high -- as was the care taken around the house. The team were in the house while we were out and always left the place in good order. Chris himself did a large part of the work and kept us fully informed of progress and any problems. However, all his colleagues were a pleasure to have around.The end result is excellent, and I am reassured that the quality of the work has been very high. I would highly recommend Chris to prospective clients.

I am thrilled with my bathroom, thank you! Chris' approach stood out among his competitors when he came to do a quote this past January. He listened carefully and gave good advice and was happy just to replace the bath, shower and loo, while leaving the tiled floor (because I love it) and the sink (because it's fine as it is). The previous bath was not fitted correctly and was doomed to leak. This past May, Chris' team took out the old tiles, tanked the walls, built a sturdy frame for the bath to rest on and replaced the loo. Jay's suggestion to rotate the loo 90 degrees has improved its capacity to flush at the same time as looking better. It took two weeks in total and the team were a joy to have in the house. My five year old now wants to build bathrooms when he grows up. Seth's precision tiling and attention to detail is excellent. He is clearly an artist - the way he arranged the simple white tiles he was working with looks classy and majestic and every time I enter the bathroom I feel uplifted. And you kept to the budget agreed in the quote. Thank you very much indeed!!!

We highly recommend UK Bathroom Guru. Chris and his team created a master en-suite for us by removing a dividing wall between two bedrooms, putting up a new stud wall and installing a walk-in shower, toilet and hand basin. We are delighted with the result - a really high quality finish. Jay and Seth were reliable, hard-working and friendly. Jay did an excellent job with the tiling, paying close attention to detail and using lasers to achieve completely straight lines. Chris ensured the flooring, plastering and electrical work happened seamlessly, on time and to a very high standard. We chose to work with Chris because he was very straightforward and willing to work flexibly with us on this project (we designed the layout and he added a few extra ideas). He stuck to the detailed schedule/quote he provided, communicated clearly throughout, and completed an inspection at the end of the work. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Chris and his team again.

We can not recommend Chris and his team enough. From the start to finish of our bathroom being totally refitted he was exceptionally helpful, responsive to what we wanted, honest and accessible. Chris has excellent communication skills as well as having clear attention to detail in his work. All of the people we met working with him were helpful and polite.Having small children I chose to move out out during the work and had 100% confidence leaving Chris and his team in our home. Naturally dust is inevitable but they do tidy up as much as possible. We really appreciated Chris' quotes which are very transparent and detailed and enabled us to work to the budget we had; with Chris' honesty and expertise we were able to work out what we really wanted to spend money on and what would be a false economy.There were a couple of issues after the work was done but Chris was immediate to respond and sort them out. We have no hesitation in recommending him and will certainly use him for any home building work in future.

Excellent customer service, we were given freedom to source the main items including tiles and flooring from a supplier of our choice and Chris arranged delivery. He and his small team of one builder and one electrician completed a bathroom refit in 5 days and left the house very clean and tidy. When installation of a new heater in the place specified turned out to be a big job for the electrician they suggested a sensible alternative solution. The labour charge seemed quite high for the hours involved but we were willing to pay this for a high quality service.

I recently had Chris and team in to create a new downstairs cloakroom from part of my hallway. I am very happy with the result, especially since another company who came to quote told me it couldn't be done!It was a complex project requiring a variety of trades, including a new window and adjustments to the stairs in addition to more standard bathroom requirements. I really appreciated Chris' contacts, and was very impressed with standard of work from all the trades, as well as the way he clearly requires them to leave the house in good condition at the end of the day! Chris did a great job overseeing it all, including liaising with the council regarding building control, and keeping things moving, with the whole project taking about 2 weeks, as had previously been agreed.I was grateful for the attention to detail, such as sourcing a second hand period door to fit with the others in the house, as well as accommodating my slightly bizarre request around routing of the waste!As the build progressed, there were a couple of issues, but as I fed these back to Chris he was very willing to accommodate wherever possible. These were mainly related to the cosmetic appearance of the cloakroom, and I was glad that I was able to keep an eye on this side of things every evening when I got home from work in addition to Chris' project managing, as the trades were understandably very much the top priority in the build.It was nice to see that even after I paid in full, Chris offered his help in chasing up the electrical certificate if this didn't arrive in good time, although thankfully this was never needed.Overall, I am really happy with the beautiful and well functioning downstairs cloakroom Chris and the team put in. For me, the particular benefit of using UK Bathroom Guru was the ability to go to a single organisation but get the expertise of a variety of high quality tradesmen, whose work was all coordinated into one smooth whole. I would happily use them again, or recommend others to do the same!
