Peak Pharmacy

I feel like most things are an inconvenience for them, or at least for whoever is serving customers/patients.It’s sort of intimidating to be served by people who seem not to care about helping those who are in need of medicine; who are often in pain or are exhausted from whatever illness/injury they require treatment for. This has happened quite a few times in the short time I’ve been registered with the surgery next door.I’ve also never been told off by other pharmacies for coming in after a doctors appointment to collect a prescription but for some reason here it’s always a big issue. Today I decided to go and do something else (not always doable and certainly not convenient) and then come back a few hours later, only to find out they don’t even have the medicine I need. I understand that can’t be helped hugely, but some guidance as to other places I could go to could be useful, but I’ve just been told to find another pharmacy that may stock it. Perhaps communication with the surgery next door could be useful too, so that doctors are aware that the medicine needed might not actually be available.When relaying the information I’d been given by my doctor, they seem to talk amongst themselves saying that the information I’m giving is incorrect. It was a bit embarrassing.I do feel for the staff as they’re obviously overworked but I’ve never had a pleasant or convenient experience in there.I’m not expecting world class service from a pharmacy at the end of the day, but I do think some training in empathy could go quite well.

Lovely local pharmacy with very helpful and knowledgeable staff, they are always ready to advise and assist. Great experience.

Hopeless. If they made people waiting for new prescriptions wait outside whilst they served people collecting repeats or wanting to buy things it would be so much more efficient. Only having one person on counter duty doesn’t help as she vanishes for ages looking for “stuff” out the back. Moved my repeats elsewhere.

Shocking to see that they have just 2.6 in reviews, and it is absolutely deserved. Really rude, slow service. I don't understand how they can be still operating.

I signed up because it’s local and offers free delivery, having waited ages for my script I was finally emailed to say they were sending them out . Nothing happened so I contacted them! Now they are saying I’m out of the catchment area . I’m not happy at all with their service!

Often closes a lot earlier than the posted time and never opens at weekends. Can make it very difficult to get your meds if your prescription is sent there by your GP. I have also often had trouble with them not having some pretty basic stuff.

I've Been waiting a week for my prescription and having no joy, this is my first time using this pharmacy and in desperate need of my medication as it's a steroid powder puff for my asthma, think i need to tell my doctor/surgery to change the chemist, thank god I'm not with the surgery next door to them...Will not be using them again!!!

The opening hours posted here on Google are incorrect as turned up yesterday (Saturday) to shutters down and no one answering the phone. It also says it’s open today, but I have no way of checking because no one picks up the phone! It says these opening hours were updated just 7 weeks ago…

Always so slow, always a problem with a prescription no matter how far in advance its sent through.Pharmisists gossip about personal things constantly. They're mind obviously not on their work.I wont use again.
