Jenny Harper Photography

Jenny recently did some documentary photographs for me as I was doing a project in a city centre with the public. The photos were stunning. Sharp, colourful, thoughtful and imaginative compositions. I really couldn't have asked for better photos, and that's coming from some who printed and edited professional photos for 3 years.

Jenny photographed our wedding and was amazing from the word go. She was always in contact with us prior to the wedding and made sure I was giving her all the information she needed in plenty of time, which really put my mind at ease. Jenny made a point of visiting the venue in advance, and even a nearby village to check out good photo opportunities. As it turned out, we really didn't need any extra chances because Jenny's photos at the venue were stunning. On the day, she arrived early and didn't miss a thing. I was so shocked when I saw all the photos that she had been taking throughout the morning without anybody even realising. Jenny is easy going and a very gentle soul, most of time we, nor our guests, even knew she was there (apart from when she gave me a knowing nod of support just as I was apart to fall apart at the end of the aisle). She was very careful to listen to our wishes before the wedding and gave us a truly personalised service. Jenny was one of the few elements of our wedding that didn't make us feel like we were on the great conveyer belt of weddings. She stayed until very late and it must have been a very tiring day for her, but it didn't stop her from getting some amazing pictures, literally until the last minute. During the day, and still now 5 months later, our guests comment on how lovely she was and people have asked for her contact details. The photos themselves are beautiful and have captured so many moments that would otherwise be forgotten. They are creative yet natural, none of them are over posed, cheesy or clichéd. Our album is gorgeous and will not be stored in the loft, it will be proudly on display. Jenny designed it herself and I had complete trust in just allowing her to do her thing, both with the album and on the day. Myself and my husband cannot recommend Jenny enough.

Jenny was simply extraordinary. We wanted photos from real-life, full of character, rather than staged photos and Jenny exceeded every expectation we had. Not only is she an exceptional photographer who knows how to capture the magic of an occasion without imposing upon it, but she is a delight to work with and put me at ease straight away. My mother commented that Jenny knew when to be a fly on the wall – but that whenever she did notice Jenny capturing moments, she had a smile on her face which was so lovely to see. It was so obvious she loves what she does. We'd recommend Jenny to anybody who wants natural wedding photography.

We can not say enough about Jenny, she was absolutely fantastic from the moment we enquired to the day we recieved our photos. Perfectly captured our big day so naturally, and was friendly but unobtrusive and fitted perfectly into our wedding. Thank you so much!

What can I say about the amazing Jenny. From start to finish she was an absolute delight she made us feel very comfortable and at ease through our wedding process. Jenny has a unique style to her photography very natural which compliments the essence of any occasion. I would certainly recommend to anyone who's looking for a professional photographer. Jenny is a brilliant photographer who captures moments that normally lasts seconds but with her photos they can last a lifetime. She photographed my wedding & I cannot recommend her enough! She is unobtrusive but captures the day beautifully. She is a pleasure to work with & has just put an amazing vintage style wedding album together for me. The prints come alive in comparison to looking at them digitally. She is marvellous!

Jenny was fabulous, when we first met she put us totally at ease and we felt very comfortable. On the day, other than the portrait type shots we didn't know she was there, snapping away....Jenny was present from the bridal party getting ready through to about 30 mins after the first dance.The photos are amazing, her documentary style has captured the essence of the day and looking through them it puts a massive smile on our face.Photos are so important to give wonderful memories of the day, we couldn't recommend Jenny enough and if you are looking for a documentary style she must be on your short list.
