Had the best experience meeting Gary in his stunning workshop. We were so happy Gary & Jo opened the workshop specially for us. Amazing to hear the stories behind these masterpieces. Chuffed with my hat as well!! Worth the trip down highly recommend. Very hospitable and friendly.

I ordered an RAF flying jacket and, I must say, it is by far the finest, most well made garment I have ever owned. The materials and stitching are of the highest quality. Not only is it a functional piece of history but it's very comfortable to wear; it's a heavy jacket but it's weight distribution and overall comfort is second to none.Everything is so meticulously crafted, that you have to admire the craftsmanship that went into this jacket.Another perk for me personally is being able to support a small, British business

Amazing experience with British Sheepskin Company & Gary today. My fiancee & me were over the UK for a couple days & wanted to size up RAF flying jacket but forgot to check if they open on Sunday. They were amazing & Jo replied out of hours to say they would be there & we gave them time.Gary greeted us at the workshop & talked through the process of making the jackets, the history & the materials. You could tell his passion about his craft. Tried on jackets to get the right size, ordered with some tailored details to ensure best fit. Got fiancee beautiful hat while we were there.Afterwards crossed paths at the local pub & got talking some more. Can't recommend the company more, the quality of the product, the service are second to none. Can't wait to get the jacket once it's finished.

I have wanted a RAF flying jacket since I was a boy watching The Dambusters!Did loads of research on the net for British companies, and low and behold I came across The British Sheepskin Company.And they are only a 5 minute drive from where I live!Gave them a ring ,spoke to Gary, discussed briefly what I was after, made an appointment to pop over and see him.What a top bloke, he couldn't do enough to help. I wanted an inside pocket on the jacket for a hip flask......not a problem. He spoke about the different options, and came up with a top solution.Was happy spending time talking to me about the craftsmanship that goes into one of these jackets. He even sewed some arms on a jacket whilst I was there so I could try one on for size. What fantastic customer service.Within 24hours I had a phone call to say my jacket was ready!And what a jacket, it is awesome, fantastic craftsmanship and quality. We have bought several hats from this firm over a number of years. The quality is excellent, and they are beautifully warm.

Wanted to buy British and pleased we did. Grey quad looks superb in front of wood burner. Beautiful colour and thickness so lovely to sit or lie on.

Before ordering, for a 44″ chest (XL), I spoke to Gary to check the back & sleeve length and confirm the sizes are perfect. The leather and fleece are both really soft giving a warm comfortable fit. The jacket is exceptionally well made from high quality materials and I would have no hesitation in recommending British Sheepskin.

I drive an open top sports car and wanted to be more comfortable in cool/cold weather. I decided that a flying jacket and helmet/hat would be the answer. I contacted and visited the workshop. I saw and was impressed by the quality of the products and materials, and obvious skill and knowledge of the team.I was measured, I am not a standard size at all with large chest and very long back. All matters were agreed and recorded. The completion was offered to be in about two weeks and it was. The flying jacket fits as does the hat and they easily meet my expectations. A great product. I am very pleased I chose these guys.

I can't thank Gary and his seamstress enough for the alterations they carried out on two sheepy's for myself and Lynda my partner. I highly recommend their service. Should we ever need to replace the coats BSC will be my first port of call.
