Troy's Tasty Caribbean Takeaway

I've been using this takeaway for a few yrs now and can't find one to better it! Food is great portions are generous and the staff are very friendly

The lady was absolutely rude. It’s like she is forced to serve me. No manners whatsoever I nearly walked out without my food because of the attitude. They are so slow in serving food. Make you wait ages and are rude on top of it. I the woman owns it she sometimes serves from the kitchen. You need to have cusotomer training coz your behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and disgusting.

I have thought about writing a review numerous times before but have not done so because i love the food from this place!! So this review has nothing to do with the standard of the food from here because im my eyes it is 10 out of 10.Ive been here today and the staff behind the counter never listen to the order. Then she gets it wrong and tries to blame you. I ordered my usual which included 2 dumplings. I repeated my order to her a few times. I paid on my card. When my food came out the dumplings were not in the bag. When i questioned it she told me i did not order them. I told her i did. She said well i didnt hear it". So i said no problem can u get them please and i will pay for them. She then said the dumplings are £1 and wanted cash. I explained that i dont have the cash but am happy to pay on my card like i did earlier. She then went on to say the minimum spend is £5 and was arguing about it. In the end a gentleman who was waiting for his food offered to pay the £1 for the dumplings. After the man had offered to pay the same staff behind the counter shouted out to the customers "anyone offering to pay for her dumplings?" The service is disgusting from front of house staff!!!! Its because of you another persons business gets ruined and customers will not want to come back. Ive dreaded coming in numerous times because of the rudeness from the front of house staff!!! But i dont see any rudeness towards other customers. Is it because i am not the same nationality and am indian??? I never never see you talk like that to customers of your own nationality.Troy is always so friendly but he seriously needs to tell his staff to have simple manners

Love this place as does everyone else! Always queues!Big portions, low prices. Mutton and fried chicken combo...

It's been a long time since I've been to a Caribbean takeaway where I had to wait so long ! Takes ages to order and wait there like a lemon. I said no steam veg and paid for extra gravy. Got home. Steam veg. No extra gravy just what you would normally expect with jerk chicken. I had medium jerk which was a tiny amount of chicken especially seen as it's on the bone(which is fine) looked like a child's portion. I've been really ill for a long time so a small meal is enough for me, I l normally come back to it later on in the night. The fried chicken was drooling in grease. There are other places In wolves I will keep going back to. Only went because id driven there for my college lesson to be cancelled last minute. I found the lady really welcoming again considering some of the comments. Perhaps it was someone else on? She was the best part. Also think it's expensive for small portions. Perhaps they're different all the time from some of the comments saying the portions were large! Might try again in the future but not for the time being. Left feeling frustrated.

Take too longNot sure what they do in that kitchen, but they have you waiting for ages, it's another let down on customer service for me......

The food was amazing. I don't eat particular food and asked for it not to be shared, my request was complied with, but I detected some attitude.

My partner introduced me to this establishment. I must admit... The food tasted better than my usual go to place. Food was great, this is the 2nd time I've been there. The food is consistent. Value for money, would definitely recommend and go there again in future.
