WOULD NEVER SHOP IN THIS PLACE AGAIN.... IT WAS RAINING ON THIS DAY AND VAN WAS PARKED, I ASSUMED THIS WOULD BE PARKING PLACE FOR CUSTOMER AS THIS IS NEW SHOP OPENED, I WENT THERE TO SHOP AND NOW RECEIVED THIS FINE AND LETTER WAS SENT NOT EVEN IN MY HOUSE BUT MY PREVIOUS PROPERTY... SO DISSAPOINTED AND FOUND OUT I AM NOT THE FIRST ONE... MONEY GRABBER WHEN WE ARE GOING THROUGH FINANCIAL HARDSHIP....

Went there to purchase discounted items for my daughter's birthday instead got £100 parking penalty. I had asked the salesgirl about parking area that there are penalty notices but she said she did not know about that and I was told that there is free parking at the rear of this shop. I parked there for 11 min while shopping antd slapped with the penalty. They are a lobby of money grabbers and I am going to sue them in the court of law.

Great prices…. Parking a nightmare… 3 times I’ve been, 3 fines I’ve received and I’ve parked in 3 different places even at the front door…. Won’t be going back due to this ….Pity

An absolute disgrace, picked up a box of out of date items as we don't have much money and got a £100 for 5mins wait. What is Heron thinking about the signs aren't good enough and it making heron look bad. The story is good enough for the national press.

It's not in the photo location now it's up at the longsdale pub .... I like it much cleaner don't park to the front tho owners a d### when you have a disabled parent who can't walk far you get finned funny how signs went up after they fined me land not owned by heron they not to blame ..friendly advice..

Arrived home this evening to a letter from a private parking company informing me that I must pay a £100 fine for parking outside the store on Sandringham road In August, signs not visible for the driver only the shopper but in my case my husband who is visually impaired was the shopper and would not have seen the small print, I've taken photos of the site and there's places where large notices could be put warning drivers but these are left blank , this is a underhanded way to generate money. Not feeling a valued customer, no consideration for people with disabilities.

You will be fined £100 for parking in the majority of the parking spaces around the back. I tried various ways and methods of appealing but in the end I was forced to pay. To be fair it isn't directly Heron Foods but the private parking company who maintain" the car park. It is all done remotely by cameras. Heron Food's head office need to take a stand to protect their customers from this happening any more."
