Great location. I think they are understaffed. The lady taking our order seemed annoyed with our tour group and that we were late. I almost left. She ended up cooling off after a while. The front desk of the hotel wasn’t overly friendly either. Great location though. And bar connected to it was fun also.

Visited for an evening bar meal. Food was to a very high standard with local produce, and they welcomed us with our dog.Unfortunately, table service standards were mixed, and we had to chase for drinks order, which was rectified eventually. Experienced staff seemed to be stretched.

Nice location by the harbour, are here in the bar area. The food was ok-ish, the staff were young and under trained. There was a hair in my food. When I pointed this out to the staff I was told it was from a brush (presumably they meant a pastry brush). Either way, it’s not what you’re hoping to find. Was very surprised to see that the food item was still on my bill. Wouldn’t recommend eating here, there’s much nicer places very close by.

I came to this hotel last Week on a business trip and was in one if the suites. From start to finish the staff couldn't do enough for me. I loved this hotel and will now not go anywhere else. The hotel was immaculate,great food, super comfy..literally couldn't have asked for a better stay and can't wait to go back.

Popped into the bar for a pint of local beer. Great pint of real ale and excellent service. Got a table overlooking the harbour. Good wifi

I didn't stay here but visited for dinner and drinks. The restaurant was busy but the waiting staff were very attentive. The menu was good with fresh local food.

Really nice hotel! It was right on the pier, so you get lovely sea views from the lounge. Though - beware! On windy days you will be blown right back into your room.The food we got was very tasty. I've added a photo of a dessert.Also pictured is the very cool lift! I couldn't get it working, I don't think I closed the doors properly, but it was very fun to stand inside!!!I can't comment on the prices, as I was on an all-expenses-paid-for trip.

Visited the restaurant. My wife ordered the seafood chowder, however it was not a chowder but a salmon and sweetcorn soup. Had to send it back as it was awful. It also said that it came with crusty bread on the menu but the small slithers that were served could hardly be called that….Super annoying that they had chowder on the menu but what they were actually serving was something different (a salmon and sweetcorn soup)….I had the steak pie which was great, but when 2 go to dinner, if both don’t get good food it unfortunately spoils the experience all together.

Nice hotel, down by the harbour. Helpful staff. Good food. Our room very nice and recently updated. Be a bit careful if you have mobility problems as the lift has seen better days. If you are younger you will enjoy the stairs.
