Travelodge Great Yarmouth

This Travelodge is very good. Short drive to Yarmouth sea front/town centre. Even closer to gorleston town/beach. A good location since there is a Toby Carvery nextdoor. It's also good because it's dog friendly. The staff are very helpful and friendly and make sure you have a nice stay. Nothing is too much trouble. The eating/dining area is excellent and kids eat free age 15 and under.The room was quite spacious for a family of four. Nice beds, good amount of space and on the counter top in the bathroom. Only thing I would like is more storage for clothes (etc) and extra hooks in the bathroom. Even though there is not air con it's still good because you get a fan and you can open windows. Overall it was a amazing stay for the time that we were there.

Originally booked for a weekend stay. Sadly, less than satisfactory.We had the rooms at the back, full of trees, grass and mud.No lift at all.Free parking was a positive.Still a quiet area, not much around.Staff less than impressive.

Accessible rooms that you can actually get a wheelchair around really easily - which seems obvious, but I've had rooms I couldn't! Staff are super friendly and helpful, and Scott on nights is an angel! They even found me a hairdryer (there's always something you forget!!)

Don't be mislead about the fact it states the room has a shower, it's a climb-in Bath shower, very misleading.Apart from that the room was clean, I had the breakfast buffet added when booking, it was very pleasant, nice range of breakfast items buffet style so eat what you want.Cereal, croissant, yogarts, full English breakfast options, fruit, juices and coffee & tea.I enjoyed my stay and was good value for money.

Not very clean could do with investing in a vacuum. Disabled access room was not at all user-friendly. Heavy doors to gain access to the corridor to room no button to open automatically. Room door led into a narrow space with no room to turn wheelchair into bathroom. Bed too close to the wall to place wheelchair. Only enough tea for one cup on arrival and one in the morning no biscuits! A little more than disappointed

Easy access to main A47 Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Gorleston on sea (beach) was a short 20 minutes walk from here also. Dianna had great customer service at check in and the hotel is generally quiet and good value

This is a good place for frequent travellers or for short stay travellers. For any service you have to call reception through your mobile. And wifi is free only for 30mins a day. The restaurant is good. Also there is nearby Toby as an option. Travelodge GY is located close to the Beacon Industrial area

Clean room and helpful staff. Original room was missing an additional bed, which I had booked online, this was quickly sorted by swapping to another room. Perfect location for an overnight stay while visiting family in Hopton. Only thing lacking is air con!

Stayed here one night on a flying visit for a job interview. On arrival reception lady was very helpful booked in quickly then up to 1st floor to a Large clean, comfortable room. Good night, sleep on a very comfy bed, then down to a serve yourself breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful and would cater for anyone. Very nice bacon. Then booked out. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing my wife mentioned was there was no hair dryer.
