I was very pleased with the young lady who was on the Checkout, I think her name was Kira. However I was absolutely mortified by two male members of staff, while I was looking for a product, discussing another colleague very loudly saying how useless she was and they didn't know how she was still employed. I am from an HR background and found this conversation both inappropriate and distasteful in a public area and demonstrated a lack of training and not at all what I expect to hear in a Sainsbury store or, in fact, in any customer facing area. I wanted to intercede but didn't feel it was place to do so, however I do hope a management intervention about conversations on the shop floor should be considered. I felt very sorry for this unnamed member of staff that her colleagues could be so disrespectful and if she is struggling that thiz is being identified by management, she needs training or assistance. Please don't let staff bring a Sainsbury store into disrepute on any level.

I popped in today with £1.20 in change in my pocket. I chose a sausage roll as a snack priced at £1.20 exactly. When I went through the self-checkout it asked for £1.25. When I asked a member of staff how that could be she said she didn't know but she would let me buy it for £1.20.How generous! Thanks for selling it at the advertised price instead of the hidden hiked up price. Poor show, must do better.

It's a Sainsbury's. Pretty good one. Nice Location and nice store.

Medium sized supermarket in the town centre and handy for the large pay-and-display car park and other shops. Unfortunately since part of the premise was converted to an in-store Argos - which is handy for some things - the range of different options for many products has gone down.

Small unit but fairly well stocked. Argos store on site.

Sainsbury's has lost is soul, it's care for its customers, and as importantly it's lost its care for its employees.Even worse it's now having a negative impact on the local community. Allowing thief's to rob... Which encourages them to continue doing even more crime, and we all know the store is doing nothing to combat the theft (and that does not fall on the head of normal CAs). I remember a time where you'd expect security staff at the door but clearly the cost of employing security is higher than the cost of all the 'shrink' pinched, to hell with the local community that are the single reason the store is there. This doesn't even mention the insistence on relying on self service, by only putting one person on checkout...with an obviously aged local populous, that have little want to learn new tech and would much rather a friendly face help them.Or the drastically reduced selection. And there's much more.

Lovely staff although now compromised by Argos meaning a smaller store and less products but still good for a quick dash in

Great shop but parking is strange. A large pay as you go car park. We assume that you get your parking free somehow but we used Ringo and as we don't normally pay to park at a supermarket but as we were passing through had no choice but may stop others when they can park FOC
