A long review... Close to the ferry. This was a special anniversary trip, the hotel chosen carefully & quite expensive. Nearby walks to seashore, dogs allowed to stay. We paid extra for a sea view. Our room was very compact, no drawers, very little hanging space. My husband lived out of his suitcase. A curtain was badly torn. We complained to Reception but couldn't transfer rooms, the curtain was changed. Our evening meal in the Restaurant did not go to plan, the Restaurant Manager was extremely apologetic, but we felt the chef needed to take more care. We booked our Anniversary meal at a nearby restaurant instead which was spectacular. The hotel pool is in fact the community pool as well, the schools use the pool every day late afternoon, at the same time as guests. We didn't pay enough to use the Spa sauna etc behind locked doors! Finally, all the staff were excellent, professional, willing & did their best. Cost over £1k for 4 nights B & B before the bar bill.

We had a great experience from check in in to check out.At check-in, we were greeted with a friend smile and a genuine welcome. The room was warm and comfortable with a fantastic sea view and the best towel I have had.We enjoyed walking the ground and especially down by the shoreline,The staff were excellent. They were a small team but worked hard to make each guest feel valued and special. Thank you David!! You and your team made our trips very memorable!!

Room was fabulous… Reception, accommodated, late, check-in and check out. Gorgeous water views throughout entire hotel. Food was delicious and staff went over and above. Spa could have been a little better if higher temp in the hot tub and addition of private, hot water showers but massage was great. Will definitely return!

We stayed for a mini break at the retreat suit. Room was very clean and tastefully decorated. It was marvelous, the hot tub was such a luxury. The wilderness spa experience is a must! If your lucky you'll see whales and dolphins. Food in the restaurant was excellent, fast service and good selection. We will definitely be back in the summer with the rest of our family. Thank you to all the staff.

What a lovely place. Stayed here for one night and wish I could have longer. It's cozy and quiet with incredible views of the water. The entire staff, especially in the spa, made every effort to make sure our stay was top notch. I had one of the best Aperol spritzes from the bar downstairs and dinner at their restaurant was very good. I would absolutely come here again.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque location overlooking the Sound of Mull. It is close to the ferry terminal and is a good base for days out sightseeing on Mull.It has a Spa, a swimming pool and sauna; the perfect way to relax after a day out.The staff are very welcoming and provide very good service. Lovely lobby with wood burning stove and leather sofas.Dinner was included in our Spa break but it only provided £30pp credit. Main courses were between £20-£28. Good choice of dishes which were tasty too.Breakfast was table service and offering a large selection; scottish fry up, eggs benedict/royal, porridge, cereals etc. Tasty croissants. The room was clean and had tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely large shower.Plenty of parking and they are dog friendly.

We visited Isle of Mull in September and booked this hotel for 2 nights. When arriving we checked in and were welcomed with a big smile. First thing you will notice is a huge lobby with stunning views of Craignure harbour. There is a fireplace and some nice sofas in the middle of the lobby making it a cozy place to hang out. We had our dog accompanying us and he has been welcomed by the staff. Dogs are allowed all over the hotel (except in the restaurant but you are allowed to eat at the lobby/bar instead). When entering the rooms, you notice the hotel is rather old (but has been renovated recently). They did a good job doing so but you smell the old building, still. The room is comfy although a bit crammed.Food at the restaurant is great. We were having dinner and breakfast. All vegetarian options were really good with local sea food. However, staff was a bit all over the place and hectic. I would definitely recommend the food here!We tried the sauna as well as hot tub. Spa facilities are alright to sum it up. Everything is quite new and helps relaxing.

Sea view suite was first class albeit bath a little small if you are tall.Service was excellent however restaurant menu limited when staying multiple evenings.Location excellent for views and ferry to Oban but a little travelling to other locations.Car pretty much essential.

Stayed for 1 night with my lady Maddie Q. Hotel was superb. Really loved the room and views over-looking the bay. Big shout goes out to Stearn who was working in the Spa and was super helpful and went above and beyond. He is due a promotion in my mind.

We had a perfectly delightful stay at Ilse of Mull Hotel & Spa! What a view of the south east coast of Mull. The Eileen I suite was beautifully designed and spacious yet cozy. Clean hot tub on the patio was relaxing in the rain. The spa amenities steam room, mud room, sauna were clean and refreshing. The fairie garden walk along the coast was a bonus! Will definitely be back
