Leah Collins - Dog Trainer

Leah is a brilliant and very knowledgeable trainer with an array of experience and was instrumental in the improvement and development of my German shepherd (Alsatian) who had really bad leash reactivity which was actually made worse by a different trainer in Woodbridge who calls himself a 'balanced trainer' who infact used a prong collar on my GSD, told me it wasn't hurting him and pushed me to buy one off him, and it actually made him worse! Needless to say I discourage anyone considering using a trainer that uses these methods and I would 100% recommend using Leah instead, she was kind, caring and patient with my GSD and demonstrated real care and understanding with my dog. As far as trainers go, she really doesn't break the bank and is worth every penny!

Leah has been absolutely fantastic. To see the improvements in our two Cockers over the weeks has been amazing. We still have work to do but understand its a process. The techniques given to us by Leah have really helped us to better manage the issues of barking, calmness and resource guarding. Cannot thank Leah enough for her support. Highly recommend.

We found Leah’s business whilst trying to find a dog trainer who offered one to one training for our newly homed German Shepard. Leah took our enquiry and then followed it up with a phone call before our first session to talk us through the training and she asked lots of questions to help offer us the best training.Leah is very knowledgeable and helpful, and has a great wealth of information, recommendations and advice to share. She is very kind, reliable and thorough and has a overarching clear love and passion for dogs and helping owners to get the best of their relationship with their pets.We initially signed up for 5 sessions, and Leah was very flexible to offer these sessions to work around shift patterns.I couldn’t recommend Leah enough to anyone looking for a personable dog trainer who has a clear passion for her business. She has offered bespoke training methods to assist with specific behaviours, anxious tendencies and reactivity with our GSD Ruby. We were very pleased to have found Leah and have noticed a great improvement in Ruby since her training and has made things at home for Ruby and us so much better.The training we were offered was specific and tailored, with advice for our situation and included recommendations for harnesses, diet and exercise. Leah couldn’t be more helpful and shows she is invested in her training

Had multiple sessions of 1:1 training for my rescue greyhound. was fantastic to be able to have the training in my home where he's comfortable. I'm a first time owner and Leah had great advice for me and was able to answer my questions (even if she didn't immediately have an answer she'd go and find out then come back with a comprehensive response). and after each session sends an in-depth summary of what's been covered which is great as a reminder how we did each command, so the dog has consistency with his training.

Leah has been an absolute God-send in helping us with our rescue dogs who both had difficult backgrounds and starts in life. With Leah’s help we’ve tackled separation anxiety, excessive barking, leash pulling, focus and even had help preparing for and adjusting our older dog to the arrival of our puppy.Leah is always a message or call away and will always find time to help you between sessions which is a testament to her passion and care for not just our progress and our doggos but for her profession, knowledge base and dogs in general. She is a fantastic asset to the dog training community and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

Leah is a knowledgeable trainer who has helped my dog and I overcome my dogs reactivity to dogs and people. You get real results from Leah and if you do everything she says you get them quickly. Looking forward to many years of walking a relaxed dog.
