Well Pharmacy

Fantastic pharmacy! Each time I have rung them the staff have been very polite and helpful, as was Gemma the Manager who was extremely professional, kind and patient and took notes when I rang to add my 83-year young Mum, who has Alzheimer's, as a new patient. Went out of her way to ensure she knew what was required and that the delivery was made promptly and I cannot thank her enough for her help. Complete contrast to the Superdrug pharmacist in Salisbury who you have to keep ringing every few weeks to request repeat meds, who is rude, uncaring and stopped deliveries to Mum without any warning, leaving her without any medication! I am so glad I found Well Pharmacy!

Absolutely fed up with this lot...Alison was always great and explained situation but others now would rather see the back of you. Precriptions are never ready no matter when they were brought in or emailed from surgery. Always problems. Sick and tired of it. Today the prescription sent thru in morn so thought I would stop and collect when picking up kids. After queueing, of course it was going to be another 30 mins(as always). Why wasn't it done already? Why 30 mins? I have kids in car. Can't wait...Bloke gets arsey says well you can take your prescription somewhere else. So this time after many times - I DID. Went to Rowlands and got it filled in 3 minutes flat and with a smile. Our family of 6 with multi repeat prescriptions will now be going to Rowlands. Our GP round the corner told us not to go there anymore anyway so will take their advice.

This pharmacy has gone disastrously down hill in the last year or so. I was handed a prescription packet with my wife's name on it, only to find on returning home that the tablets were for someone else and quite different from what she was taking. I reported it and was given a verbal apology in the shop, but no official response.More recently there have been three occasions when having been told the prescriptions are ready, they were not handed over because there was no pharmacist on the premises when we called during standard opening hours.Today (Saturday) a standard prescription sent through by the GP last Tuesday is still not available.If this business is to retain any customers there needs to be a total revision of all their standardsRevd Christopher JonesAnd it is no better now. I received a text to say that my prescription was ready at 1503. When we went to collect it the same day at 1740 they couldn't find it. This is three months after my previous post and there has been no improvement!!!I must look for another pharmacy and I advise everyone to do the same

My mum went into the chemist for my sons medicine and they couldn’t have been more lovely. She came home and commented on how nice they were, I had to call them later in the day to ask advice on getting my six year old to take the horrible tasting medicine, we were really struggling with it and they were really helpful and kind. We all know they are busy and worry about asking things sometimes but they didn’t make us feel like we were taking up time and it was really helpful advice. Thank you

Excellent 3 Swans pharmacy and 3 Swans surgery. Requested prescription on-line this morning but then realised I would run out of one item before the prescription would be available. Rang surgery to ask for a call back by a GP to find out if I could eek out my remaining tablets by reducing the dose until new prescription would be ready in 4 days' time. GP phoned within 2 hours and advised that my prescription was already in the pharmacy. Collected it about an hour later. My thanks to everyone at both the surgery and the pharmacy who was involved in helping me out.

Until about six months ago, this was probably the best dispensing pharmacist in Salisbury and I would have recommended them to anyone, but I have noticed that in recent months the standard of service in this pharmacy has sadly declined. Before, when I went to collect my repeat medications from Well Pharmacy, I always felt welcome. The staff were always friendly and helpful, but now when I call there I feel like I should apologise for bothering them! They now seem to have an attitude of this job would be alright if it wasn't for the customers! It looks to me like there has been some personnel changes in recent months. If this is true

Really disappointed with the service! Bought a PCR test on Monday around 15:00 and did the test straight away. I’ve been told that I would receive the results next day by midnight which would be Tuesday. No results came and rang the lab and been told they haven’t even received the pack. Rang Wells and they said the results are until today and not yesterday. The information in the leaflet says the opposite as well. Such a mess. Now I had to pay for a 3 hour PCR test £119 and really frustrated as I lost £65 already.

I need regular PCR tests for work travel and they seem completely unable to give any indication whatsoever of when you can expect test results. This seems incredible given that their competitors Wren/Goodbody etc all manage to say a time so you know you’ll have results in time for your flight.Totally unhelpful and a couldn’t care less attitude.

Told my mother prescription was in, goes down only to be told they were out of stock! This medicine is very important. She Went back home only to receive a message that it had come in. No good if your in your 80s and rely on buses.I have changed pharmacies because of problems I've had with the same pharmacy!

Regrettably standards have dropped significantly since a new pharmacist took over. Well Salisbury is understaffed and disorganised. You are almost always in a queue outside in rain or cold, old or young or disabled and the staff cannot see this. Every transaction takes a long time and inexperienced staff cannot find your made up prescription. A real shake up is needed!
