Just called Russell for a quotation on some curtains, blinds and seat cushions I'm after for my house. I was recommended to contact him though our local pub as the landlords dad had used him in the past and said that he was very good. Russell had also been out to the local pub to give prices as the new landlord is in the process of refurbishing. Anyway cut a long story short I called Russell and said that I had been recommended to contact him and said how the recommendation had come about and he just went mental at me down the phone! I tried to explain to him that I was a separate client from the pub but he was for some reason very angry and not interested in helping me what's so ever! He seemed bitter that the Landlord of the pub had not come back to him yet to confirm his go ahead. The landlord is still in the middle of building works and as a result not ready to use Russell yet. If this is how he speaks to customers and looking at some of the previous reviews on here I would strongly recommend that no one uses this man as he is obviously off his rocker!! The rudest man I have ever come across!!!!

If you are looking for caravan upholstery then Russell is the person to contact. Friendly and professional advice. Loads of material to choose from. Quick collection and returned and fitted. Very good prices too. So pleased with the service.

Great upholsterers!Not really one for writing reviews, but have seen the ones posted below and thought that Russell has been given an unfair report, so i thought that i. would share my experience with youRussell has done work for me over the years and have always found him helpful and professional.He has worked on our static caravan in brean sands, and his price and quality was superb, we had another van reupholserted years ago somewhere else and were not happy, but Russells work and value for money was second to none in comparison.He even organised a carpet fitter and someone to do our blinds for us in the caravan which kept Mrs Jones Very happy.To round it up, i highly recommend Russell and Baytree upholstery.Mr M JonesBristol

Well we contacted this gentleman for a quote for various works on our camper van - upholstery and so forth…he was unhelpful - borderline rude and now won’t return our phone calls… we are / were waiting for a date to arrange a meeting for conversation ref: fabric and so on…obviously we have taken our business elsewhere…it’s a shame as we would have preferred to have used a smaller shop / local shop but if this is the type of service we are expected to put up with then I’m glad we went to a “chain” business on line and we received much better service!…absolutely unable to recommend in any way …

Have used Baytree in the past for T5 bench seat covers. Good work. Needed a new bed and hate dealing with the big shops. Popped in and saw Russell today, decided on a bed. Very reasonable and delivered already. I really recommed Russell and Local shopping. To all the haters perhaps you need to be called Sir or Madam and a nice cuddle, free cup of coffee and perhaps foot rub from one of the corporates. I on the other hand prefer the no frills approach.

Took in 10 dining room seats to be webbed and recovered. Communication was fantastic, price very reasonable and even loaded the car when I collected. Alldone within a few days and so pleased.

Replaced a tired set of eight dining room chair cushions with new, thicker foam and light coloured upholstery, giving them a new lease of life! Really professionally done and a pleasure to deal with.

What a jewel of a place and Russell, the owner, was very helpful. Went for a piece of foam and ended up buying material, wadding and some awesome silver studs. Our first, but definitely not our last visit. Thanks.
