As a California native, and former Mexico inhabitant, my expectations for what constitutes ’good mexican food’ are quite high and rarely met in the U.K. These guys are KILLING IT. Delicious salsa, wonderful authentic tacos, and the verdita with the tequila was amazing. Just hoping their tequila options expand as I’m not a mezcal fan.

Great tacos and frozen margaritas! Was very busy but they were able to fit 5 of us inside which was great. A little expensive for the portion size (£8 for 2 tacos) but overall good experience and vibes

Great food and friendly staff!The sharing tacos were a great option for a couple as gives a good opportunity to try lots on the menu. My favourite combination was the chicken, red cabbage and salsa verde, although all were delicious.Chorizo side was great as well! Obviously good quality produce!Only point of contention was that the meal from start to finish it was only 40 mins (slightly rushed) although saying this, it worked well for us as we were hungry!!We would go back to try more of the menu.

Had a great experience when all 7 of us visited Cargo Cantina for drinks and food.The staff were extra kind and found us 2 tables to accommodate all of us within 10 minutes.Food was exceptional and so were their drinks!We will definitely be visiting again. It would be nice to be able to book though.

Just ordered from uber eats. Lovely vegetarian burrito, but the tacos was sad. Soggy and also you only get two tacos for more than £10. Was just a load of celeriac stew filling and some coriander leaves. Neither pretty or generous portion.Dont recommend necessarily ordering from them via uber eats again. At least not the tacos. Other food was good, still pricy.

Really friendly but slow service. Had to wait over 30 minutes for 2 cocktails cause they didn't have the ones we wanted twice. Then got our bill wrong. Would recommend but just be prepared to wait
