Not a great company to deal with, being first time buyers we followed the house buying process to a T only for one of their staff to use threatening behaviour towards us and accusing us of not being serious about the sale. They stated they worked with the seller loads and that everything in the property had been turned and updated and he always delivers, however clearly not and the things that had been altered weren't done correctly, within 24 hours of recieving the keys we had a major gas leak which should have been picked up prior the sale and we did mention the boiler in viewing as it looked like it wasn't up to much, the integrated freezer we were told was getting fitted the week of the viewing wasn't there. we have a bathroom that leaks into the kitchen ceiling, our box room has no electric to its main electric socket as it hasn't been wired up which we found out from our broadband engineer. Gas Safe who dealt with the gas leak stated they wanted to know who installed the boiler and when I contacted Robinson's for the details they fobbed me off saying they'd get back to me and never did. We have now had to go onto buy a brand new boiler, at this rate we will have to invest in a whole new bathroom and as a stated refurbished house with brand new bathroom that is pretty frustrating. Even the front door had been turned around to look brand new. They couldn't even provide the correct keys for the property, my advice is if you ever deal with this company make sure you don't let them fob you off like they did us .

Abysmal service from start to finish. I signed up as a guarantor for a property that Robinson's Bishop Auckland were letting. The property was in disgusting condition, Environmental Health termed it it the worst that they have ever seen and still absolutely nothing was done to rectify this. The tenant has since moved out and negotiations regarding reimbursement are currently being ignored. The one star is for Ian Hattersley, who is the contractor that they use. The bloke is the only redeeming factor in this otherwise incompetent and rude shambles of a business. If you're renting in Bishop Auckland, go elsewhere.

As it is not possible to leave a zero star rating I have been forced to make it one star.I have continuously experienced severe issues regarding Robinsons and the staff I have been in contact with.I moved into one of their properties on October 18th,after having previously viewed it on the 11th September 2019.During the viewing a stated a number of issues I wished to be resolved before I moved in. Photographs of these issues were taken and I was given the confidence they would be resolved before I moved in. These consisted of :- A yard full of rubbish.- Only one bin.- A water stain above a window highlighting an issue.- Scuff marks to the kitchen floor and areas of damage.- Damage to the kitchen cupboards.- no fire alarm downstairs.Amongst multiple other issues.Fast forward to moving day. The rubbish was still overflowing in the yard, the flooring and cupboards were still in the exact same state. The rubbish that had also been left discarded throughout the property was still there.Many phone calls later, the rubbish was removed. Found amongst it were needles and bags of human feces. More calls later and a lot of pathetic excuses, as per, I was finally graced with a second bin.Que the water works. Not me, the house. The staining that I had previously pointed out which, made obvious at this point, had not been resolved, had been revived thanks to the weather into a fresh flow of water. This persisted, while it lay neglected, for months. Many many more calls later and a lot of writing, this had large coverage over two main walls and became apparent in other areas of the house....... Throughout winter. The walls also began to sprout their own form of greenery known as black mould.Que the steady and persistent influx of contracters" (with no actual work in sight for months). At this point it was discovered that there were over 10 holes in the roof and asbestos on the walls and ceiling...... Where the water was continuing to flow through
