Lisa, a member of the Barnstaple Halfords team could not have been more helpful. She took time to find out precisely what model of Sat Nav would suit our needs. She then suggested various models which might meet that need and explained the advantages and disadvantages of the various models. Great customer service. Indeed it encouraged us to make a further purchase of a front facing camera as we knew we could trust her advice.

Awesome experience at Halfords Barnstaple. All the staff were helpful, attentive and polite but special mention must go to Tom who looked after us and made explained everything to my daughter about who new bike and was very excited. Really leading by example. Well done and so refreshing to get such an amazing service in retail these days. Great job

I had just bought a second hand car and wanted to be able to play from Spotify and have a decent Sat Nav. Tom in the Barnstaple Store was absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Tom explained the options available very clearly and I was able to make an informed decision. I am so, so pleased with my Sat Nav, Hands Free phone and my car stereo now plays from my phone. If only there were clones of Tom in other stores!

Fantastic service. I got a quote from a local tyre place for a new battery for my Transit for £250 .. got a great battery from Halfords for £152 Inc fitting guaranteed 5 years! I just drove in & they sorted me straight away.

While on holiday needed some oil for my car popped in and as new car wasn’t sure what oil was needed. The computer near the oil display was not working asked a staff member saw me and directed me to the till point where I could find out what one I needed. Once I arrived at the till point a young lady helped me once I gave her my registration number she said stay here and I’ll pop over and get it for you. I was amazed at the level of service rather then tell me she went and got it for me. It helped as I was not a regular at this store. She was a credit to Halfords very polite and very helpful.

I visited the Barnstaple store today to ask about Winter car checks. The assistant on Till 001 offered to carry out a 10 point check right then. (I had thiught I would have to book).. She was friendly. polite and efficient as she carried out the checks. Service with a smile. Will definitely recommend to friends

Terrible customer service, 11 people in the only 1 person on the till. Plenty of staff filling stock, no one to apologise to the customers. Served by Kieth no help seemed to be more interested in making the situation worse. Disappointed.Second visit this time looking for a electric bike, had help from Liam. What an asset to the company, has so much information and time. Just to say Liam 5 star all the way, however still lots of people at the till with no one to serve. My last score was only 1 star, but Liam made a great impression today.
