Excellent service. My 10 year old sofa had sagging cushions. From the Val Tierney website, I emailed my issue with a description and photo. Later that day, Val phoned and left a message outlining the options. I called him the next day, he quickly answered and we discussed what he could do. I took the seat and back cushions into him one morning a few days later and collected them later that day. New foam for the seats and extra filling for the backs. It has made a huge difference. The cost was slightly less than the initial estimate. Val and his team are clearly very experienced and were professional and friendly in manner. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I contacted Val Tierney upholstery via email after our rescued Romanian street dog decided to eat a hole in one of our brand new caravan cushions. She really did do a good job of biting a big hole in the woven fabric.I received a response the same day asking me to bring it in. The lady I saw was amazing. She assured me that it would not be a problem. The only thing was the machine she needed to use was one she used at home so it would be around 5 days to sort out. Not a problem.When I picked the cushion up I was gobsmacked. What an amazing repair. The cushion had those bottons in the middle which attach through the middle of the foam so it was quite a big deal to remove the foam do what she did and make it look as perfect as it did.I would definately recommend and will use again to upholster any/all of my caravan cushions when needed.Friends of mine recently replaced the whole seating area in his old van at a huge cost because of the cushions being tired. If I only knew then eh!A well deserved 5/5. There is a reason you are still thriving in a dying trade (my friends dad was an upholsterer in the 70s up until his death in 1990 and it was hard even then before the current throw away society)

We have a Chesterfield Sofa that is around 5 years old ; Some springs had come loose causing a sag. In addition some of the buttons had lost their threads, resulting the sofa being rather uncomfortable to use and having a rundown look. Mr. Val Tierney is an absolute gentleman and gave me a very detailed explanation of the work that needed to be undertaken, the time it would take and a rough estimate of the price, so I knew exactly what I was getting and how much it would cost upfront. The sofa was picked up and returned in 4 working days. We use the sofa a lot in these days; it is next to our patio doors with a view to our garden and we are very happy with the workmanship . It looks new and definitely feels better than it did when we first purchased it.

Brilliant service.very knowledgeable.Decided to refresh our existing sofas which had gone saggy, the work was completed same day, sofas are as good as new at a fraction of the cost of buying new ones. Highly recommended.

Our sofa cushions were badly in need of new foam inners. We took them to Val Tierney yesterday morning and collected them later the same day. They now look perfect. The telephone support and customer service we received was excellent. We will certainly use this company again. Val & John.
