I have known Tim for some years in his role as a BACP Senior Accredited Supervisor of which he is among a small group of less than 0.6% of BACP members.Tim is approachable, knowledgable, conscientious, experienced, practical, ethical and generous. He is really easy to work with and a thoroughly nice person.I have no absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending Tim as a supervisor for counsellors and psychotherapists and as a very experienced counsellor.

I saw Tim for about 20 sessions and would highly recommend him to others - he has helped me overcome some difficulties that had been holding me back, and feel I have learnt a great deal. Tim has the insight and compassion to provide a safe space for painful feelings and experiences to be shared and understood, and has a good balance between different therapeutic models.

I have had the privilege of working with Tim professionally on an extended training course for advanced counsellors and have found him to be conscientious, honest and reliable. Tim is an excellent counsellor and someone who has helped me enormously during a difficult time in my life. Through my sessions with Tim over the past few months I have navigated some really tough issues. He has been a great listener and offered helpful guidance and insight. I find Tim to be warm, compassionate, professional and friendly. He is a good communicator and has been accommodating about having face to face sessions as well as by video and phone calls. I have used Tim previously and can say that he is one of the finest and most helpful counsellors I've had. I had face to face and video sessions and both were as useful and friendly as the other. Tim takes the time to really listen to your needs and learn about you so he can understand better what you want from the sessions and what your goals are and he is brilliant at reflecting on what you've said and helping you understand better what has been discussed and pinpointing where they may have come from. When the sessions eventually came to an end Tim helped ease the process and ensured a peaceful and safe transition away from the sessions showing the dedication and care he displayed throughout the 18 months (and 100+) sessions that we worked together.

Tim not only has these in bucket loads but he also has the knack of getting to the root of a problem quickly, cutting through all the distractive stuff to get you to focus on what is really important and to think about things in a very different way. I find his gentle but persuasive approach has worked incredibably well for me.
