Pipistrelle Rides

i joined Jen and Alex for a 4 hour gravel ride, although there were options of road and MTB trails as well. i hired their electric gravel bike which was new and very competent over the terrain. it was my first time on an ebike and it took the strain out of the hills but still required enough input to give you a work out. the ride covered beautiful scenery and as hosts Alex and Jen were more than happy to stop for photos or speed up depending on the situation. we had a quick mid ride stop for tea and more photos. the location was great and i could have happily done an all day ride and i would enjoy going back to do some MTB trails. highly recommended.

The whole experience with Alex at Pipistrelle Rides was brilliant, from booking a day and time, to arranging where to ride, and the ride out with him.Once booked Alex kept in contact with me to decide on the right place to ride (MTB) and was very knowledgeable about different locations. After some discussion on my experience we settled on Macclesfield. He was flexible in terms of start times and came well prepared for the ride with energy bars and tools should we have needed them on the ride.Throughout the ride Alex was a great guide and knew different places to take me, he learned my pace quickly and always stopped to make sure i didnt get lost on the ride. He described each section well and let me lead so i could enjoy them at my pace. Overall a very satisfied customer!
