I bought a car from this garage. I did a px on my Vauxhall Insignia for a 2008 S Max. Went to collect the Ford S Max. It seemed apparent the proprietor was getting over a hangover, didn't give us a bill of sale, had to ask for it. Messaged him to tell him there was no inner lining and the back door wouldn't lock. He said he would get the parts and get it fixed. 2 weeks later, nothing, messaged him, he said he was still waiting for the other part to arrive. I waited another 10 days, still nothing so I messaged him again. This time he was arrogant and abusive, calling me a C - - k. I asked for the parts, went to collect them. Apparently he was away for the weekend celebrating his birthday. Obviously he couldn't face me. The after sales are diabolical. He must think OAP'S and CORNISH people are thick, but we are smarter than he thinks. He thinks he's a business man, I seriously think he needs training in people skills. I will never have any dealings with him again.

Our Renault needed new discs and pads at both the front and back. Called for a quote and was booked in within good time. Brakes changed at a good price with good service and no problems.

Went here for oil and filters change. We were on a road trip in Cornwall and booked the day before. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only reason for 3 stars is the price for the labour. Charging labour £120 + vat for oil and filters changed feels excessive. Reason given was two hours worth of work (two people in one hour on our case). Invoice attached.

Got me in quickly for a replacement of seized brake and replacement of pads. Work completed in a couple of hours and phoned me for collection. Very professional and friendly. Great local garage. Would definitely recommend.

Great place & the attitude of the owners is superb!Struck a pothole on Friday (on my way down to see relatives) & needed to get a new tyre on Saturday morning, so many places that I called couldn't replace the tyre until Monday (hard as I was going back up country the same day!Contacted this garage & they got the tyres at a very good price. Other garages had been possibly able to supply, but at a much higher price!Was contacted when the tyres arrived & went to get them fitted. The owners are incredibly friendly & so enthusiastic about what they do! I would highly recommend this place.When I was contacting various places, I overheard one garage 'hard selling' another customer some tyres in addition to a back box exhaust, Luke advised me on my brakes, which I knew about & that was as far as the conversation went.Have already told a few of my relatives & hope that these guys keep working with enthusiasm, intercity & value for money.

1500km from home, and the lock broke on the tailgate. Super helpful, great communication to update on delivery, and flexible on fitting to minimise impact on holiday. Thanks!

I had a flat tyre, the lovely gentleman pumped up my tyre to enable me to get back to St Austell. Didn't want any money. He checked the whole tyre thoroughly found there was a split & advised I would need to get a new one. Very helpful. Thank you so much for your help.

Having been severely let down by the RAC on a trip during our visit to Cornwall on 8th October we contacted this local garage to help us. Aaron and his colleague were out to us in 10 minutes and after getting us and the car back to the garage they ordered us a taxi to get us back to the site we were staying at. The following day they advised us what the problem was and we were able to collect the car the day after that. Their service was impeccable. They didn't charge us for attending the breakdown and getting us back to the garage and we were perfectly happy with the cost of the repair which has enabled us to continue with our holiday. We would highly recommend these guys who were extremely helpful and obliging and didn't rip us off. Thank you so much for getting us back on the road.
