Ovingtons Funeral Directors

Both my parents and grandparents and other family members used Ovington's. They were lovely every caring and empathetic with us as a family. The Chapel of rest is beautiful and calming. I would recommend them to all.

As a family we instructed Ovingtons to act for us after my dad passed away three weeks agoWe’ve used them before for mam sixteen years ago so we knew the company. From the first phone call to now they have been absolutely amazing! They’ve gone above and beyond to respect my family but certainly my dad .They have done everything for us with absolute professionalism and kindness !Thank you Jimmy and team on behalf of me and my family from the bottom of our hearts you certainly are amazing!

Ovingtons are the go to Funeral Directors in Birtley, but my experience was very disappointing. I ultimately chose a different funeral director and felt like they held my mother's body to ransom. For a great service (I did a lot of research) got to C M Walker instead.

Luckily i have never had to use this service but….. i have been blown away with such caring , compassionate and sincere support we were given . Barry was our contact and handled everything so professionally and took away the stress and confusion ( and simply lost feelings we had ) and organised every aspect we needed to give my Dad the best final day ❤️❤️
