Great afternoon walking the gardens to view the sculptures on display. But the trees are mind blowing magnificent examples that take your breath away. We spent 3 hours walking around and only scratched the surface. Will definitely return. The coffee shop is excellent with tables and chairs in the courtyard.

Wow! A breathtaking place to come and visit. This was my first time here for a wedding and I was in awe of the main hall with the staircase and the details above on the ceiling. The grounds are really beautiful particularly when all the flowers are out. The staff are all really friendly. I'd love to come back. Olly (Olly Knight Photography)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a professional wedding photographer, I recently had the pleasure of working at Ashridge House, and I can't praise this venue enough. From the moment I stepped onto the grounds, I was captivated by the stunning architecture, picturesque gardens, and the abundance of natural light, providing the perfect canvas for capturing magical moments. The staff's unwavering commitment to excellence was evident in their meticulous planning and flawless execution, allowing me to focus on creating beautiful memories. The diverse range of backdrops, from the regal interiors to the enchanting outdoor spaces, offered endless opportunities for creative shots. The venue's attention to detail and flexibility, coupled with the seamless coordination between the team and other vendors, made it a photographer's dream. Ashridge House is not just a venue; it's a masterpiece that elevates the art of wedding photography, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for couples seeking a truly enchanting setting for their special day.by Desiree A. Ashridge House is about an hour outside of London by car. It has some beautiful grounds and is a perfect place for a wedding. We stayed for two nights as part of the wedding party. The rooms were decent and does the job and were clean and comfortable. The venue itself is really nice and can be well decorated for a wedding. Food was good and staff friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Spent a lovely morning going round the gardens looking at the sculptures currently on display. It was very well laid out, and it was great fun finding them. The restaurant was very good too with a nice display of food and drink.

This place is fantastic. A great discovery, great cafe, very clean settings and toilets, wonderful gardens and very helpful staff. The cafe seating area in the courtyard is a treat on a lovely sunny morning/day and walks around the house to the viewing tower and house gardens are beautiful and relaxing. The house has an amazing welcome feel and makes you feel as rich as it's history.

Been here for events in the past, most recently outdoor cinema experience.Always top quality venue, beautiful building inside and out day and night, with lovely grounds to walk around. Loads of history to see and read about.Plenty of helpful, friendly staff about and large car park close by with an overflow nearby too. Wheelchair friendly. No dogs though.Recommend the cinema experience.

Visited for the open day today and had a lovely time. The gardens and views of the house are beautiful. Lovely flowers here and plenty of spaces to walk around especially if you love photography. I had no problems here at all and they had good toilet facilities. The only slight downside is the cafe today was not great, long wait times, nobody cleaning tables and high prices. I would return here however.

Impressive house and grounds. Gardens were closed today but we had a walk round the grounds and woods with the dog. You ca have a very good walk here masses of space and the dog loved the woods. There's a lot of old interesting trees and the sweet chestnut trees have some impressive trunks. There's good free parking close to the house. The small courtyard has an impressive centre planted pice surrounded by tables with food and drinks available. Bit pricey but food all looked good.Toilets are gender neutral very clean and tidy with family and disabled facilities available.

We visited this place for the Herts National Garden Scheme open day and what an unbelievable place we were met with. The building is stunning. The grounds will take your breath away. We enjoyed coffee, pasties and cake from the delicious Bakehouse cafe on site. Even the toilets are nice and clean. I would highly recommend a day out here and it's super dog friendly!
