Jack, Ben, and the team did a fantastic job of designing and installing our 7.8kW solar system with 10.4kW storage.At every stage of the process the communications were clear and during the survey we discussed and agreed how the system would be installed and where the necessary cables would be run.The advice included replacement of our aged mains cupboard equipment to meet modern standards, and all work was done professionally and with the utmost regard for the property.The guys worked cleanly and tidily, and all mess was cleaned up.I'd have no hesitation in recommending JTD for Solar or Electrical works.Thanks Jack, Ben, and your team!

Had JTD in for a solar/battery/charger installation. They were efficient, meticulous, professional, tidy, safe and polite.My initial consultation was with Jack which went well and was followed up by a quote. From then on, Ben and his team took over and handled the install. I even made a few last minute requests/changes to the install and they were very accommodating. I was kept informed throughout and given a detailed run though of how it all works once the install was complete.I would highly recommend!

Jack and the JTD Group have been brilliant installing solar batteries for my grandparents' solar panel system. They are professional, friendly, and very informed on all things solar; they work over and above to provide the best service; for example, Jack was able to provide an honest assessment of what the system required, and was happy to answer countless questions that were asked of him. They also went over and above by activating the Solar Edge System, which allows us to actively view the amount of energy produced by the panels, and the amount of money that is being saved- this was not what was paid for, but Jack and the JTD Group were kind enough to help us set this up anyway!Jack was also very fair on price, and a lot more reasonable than newer solar companies that can cold call and offer free quotations but bully you into buying. Unlike them, we called Jack and the JTD Group who provided a free quotation quickly and there was no pressure to buy, and answered all our questions.I rarely write reviews, but Jack and the JTD Group have honestly been so helpful and efficient; I do not want anyone, especially vulnerable people, to be scammed by dodgy solar companies; please just call Jack and the JTD Group, they will save you money and all trouble! They are approachable and genuinely want to help.

JTD Group have been excellent in every step of the process whilst quoting, surveying, installing and commissioning my new residential 6.1KW PV system with battery storage, essential power supply (for power cuts) and zappi car charger.Knowing pretty much what I wanted from the system it was refreshing to have a great technical chat with Jack, where he then produced exactly what I wanted in a survey and quotation. During the install, the team of four worked professionally and cleanly to very high standard (as can be seen in the pictures).After the commissioning process, Jack took lots of time to explain in detail how to switch into EPS mode (for power cuts) and also provided this in documented form with all of the certificates for the installation on the evening of the final day.I am so glad I chose to use JTD Group, they have gone the extra mile to make this an easy process for me.

Had panels and battery installed by JTD group. Quote and site visit were very quick, with lots of helpful discussion around installation options. Panels were installed within 10 days of confirming quote. We've been renovating a house over the last two years and I can say that Jack, Ben and their team are the most professional company we have had the pleasure to deal with. From designing our Solar system, installation and producing all the necessary paperwork at the end we can't fault them.

We had researched solar for many months and were struggling to find a company who we felt listened to what we wanted to achieve and also had a sensible price. From the moment we spoke to Jack we knew we had found the right firm, and we have been delighted with everything from start to finish. The quote was very competitive, the system itself better than many of the other quotes we had received whilst also being cheaper and it fits our needs exactly. The installation was first class, the team were very professional and in no way disruptive. Jack and his team answered all questions, happy to explain anything we wanted clarity about. Since installation it’s exceeded our hopes - which is great given its winter. It’s a big commitment to install solar so you do need to be confident about the company instructed and the professional and knowledgable service from Jack and whole team has given us that. Thank you Jack and team - we would 100% recommend you (already have to family and friends).

We contacted a number of companies to get estimates for a solar system installation. These came in many different configurations, but all of similar values.We were recommended to contact JDT by a work colleague, as they had an installation by JDT and could not sing their praises high enough. We contacted JDT and spoke with Jack Davis. Jack listened to what we wanted and sent an estimate through, for a 12-panel and battery system, by the next day. We arranged a site visit to ensure that it was possible to fit the system in our home. Unfortunately, something happened that stopped Jack from conducting the survey on the first occasion, but Jack phoned to let us know and to arrange another date.Jack is very amiable and during the survey asked us questions about how we would likely use the system now and, in the future. Jack suggested that we amend the system to 15-panels. We had suggestions for location of the battery and inverter and how to get from the attic to the battery/ inverter and to the electric meter which Jack took onboard. Jack said that it would be possible, and he would send through a quote for the 15-panel system. We were content with the quote, which was very competitive, and arranged an installation date.The scaffold team arrived the day before installation to erect the scaffold, they were all pleasant and got on with the job efficiently. On the day of installation, the roofing team, Chis and Joe, arrived ahead of the electrical team, Luke and Tom and explained that they would not be far behind. Ben Davis then arrived and explained what they would be doing. When the electrical team arrived, it was obvious that the team had talked through the installation ahead of arriving, as they all knew exactly where and what to do. Both teams got on with their jobs in a professional and efficient manner. By the end of day 1, the cables were in from the panels to the inverter and from the meter to inverter. 12 of the panels were fitted, I think that the only reason the 15 were not fitted is because they had to wait for delivery of 3.Day 2 the inverter and battery were delivered, Luke got on with connecting these up and the roof team finished installing and connecting the panels and fitting the bird guards. Ben took photos of the completed roof installation to show us and suggested that we download the GivEnergy App ready for Luke to talk it through with us. Luke then updated the software for the system and whilst he waited for that gave us a run through of the App and explained about the equipment and isolating switches. Luke then completed the commissioning of the system.On the next working day, Jack sent through the handover pack with all the required paperwork to supply to our electrical service provider. Jack also phoned us to ensure that we were content with the whole service that JTD had provided.Our experience of JDT Group was that they were professional and efficient from start to finish, providing an excellent service during deliberations of the configuration of the system and for the physical installation. We never felt pressured by any of the JDT team. We have no hesitation in recommending people thinking of installing a solar system to contact JTD Group.

After investigating several solar companies I decided on JTD as their price was spot-on, considering the high-spec system they were providing. I was offered several installation dates and chose one that was a month or so down the line because of other family commitments.When the agreed date came, the scaffolders arrived and were quick and efficient. Then the installation team arrived and likewise were polite and efficient and patient with my endless technical queries. I was extremely pleased with the installations on the roof and in the garage. The arrangement of the equipment in the garage is so tidy and when I discussed this with the team they informed me that tidiness is one of their prime considerations.So to Luke and Tom, an especial well-done! Chris and Anthony up on the roof were also very good, and persevered through some bad weather and did a very nice job too on our exceptionally steep roof.Jack Davis, the boss, came up with a very good plan and it was implemented perfectly. After the job was done he returned and talked us through the final certification. To anyone looking for a solar installation who is at all worried, I can recommend JTD without hesitation.

Jack and his team installed a solar array/battery/inverter and the associated equipment on our house in September 2023.During the quotation phase, Jack was clear, quick and responsive to questions, and receptive to feedback (particularly around trying to align diaries!).Once the team were on site, they were polite, respectful, clean/tidy and very friendly. They were accommodating of our work schedules and explained the set-up to us properly.So far the system is working perfectly, and Jack has continued to be good with communications.I would recommend JTD - they gave us a better service and price than our utility firm, and have been great to work with along the way.
