Harlequin Puppet Theatre
This is one of the most magical experiences I have ever encountered. I highly recommend anyone book and go to a performance - it is fabulous for everyone both young and old. My 3 & 4 year olds both turned to me and said ‘mummy I just love this’.Chris your show is incredible and so endearing - we can’t wait to visit again, you and the magic you create in your theatre is a beautiful masterpiece like no other. Thanks so much for having us :)

Wonderful old time show for kids of all ages. The owner is everything from box office manager to ice cream salesman (cheapest ice creams in North Wales), to head marionette operator to magician. A nice clean family show in a really compact purpose built theatre. Absolutely worth dragging the kids away from their screens for.

What a find! Me, my husband and our 4 year old absolutely loved the show - puppets, magic tricks and an ice cream interval what's not to like! Chris is such a lovely man, he's fantastic with the little ones and runs the whole place single handed. You should be very proud. We will definitely be back and will be telling everyone about you!

We have been here twice and it was very enjoyable. It's old fashioned entertainment which won't be available for ever. It's run by one man who does everything from box office to manning the marionettes and includes a magic show. It's very geared towards the children but it's very entertaining for adults as well. The theatre is a bit run down but it's good value for money and should be supported more.

A treat if you haven't been before. One man's passion to keep puppets from history alive. Children will love the magic tricks. Theatre could do with a face lift but Rhos needs to support this gem.

Such an amazing show. For a group with 3 years to 50 years olds, we all enjoyed it thoroughly. If I hadn't seen with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe that puppets on strings could come to life full of expressions. This is definitely a must go if you are in this area.

What a find this theatre is! I visited this week with my granddaughters and we loved everything about it.The theatre is run single handedly by Chris Somerville who is box office clerk, puppeteer, master of ceremonies, ice cream seller and all round lovely man.The show is lovely to watch and never boring. Puppets , magic show with Mr Bimbamboozle and a marionette display at the end.The theatre is run on ticket sales only with no financial help from anywhere else. Please support this lovely seaside activity. You won't be disapoointed

A beautiful historical site the first built purposeful puppet theatre - it’s a pity it was shut - though they was someone in the office you could see but they did not say much to you even though we knocked on the door - quite eerie but I’m sure if open would be great to see some of the productions

Absolutely magical, thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family, the way the puppeteer worked the strings was amazing, fun and educational, if you are in the area you should visit here, you won't be disappointed,
