I went with DBF to redo my will. Unfortunately, the process was very long due to the unhelpfulness of the person who oversaw the writing of my will. I was shocked that when I visited the office, I overheard the women on the front desk being rude about a gentleman who's call she had taken. Also, I was very surprised at the lack of data protection proceedire they had for peoples personal details with personal details lying around openly for people to see and being left in a room where files could easily be accessed.

I was considering using this firm for conveyancing. My experience from the start was extremely poor.In a nutshell I received a quote and then some information, via phone, about what forms of identification would be acceptable. In suggesting a passport and driving licence I eas advised only a utilities bill would be scceptable. For various reasons I couldn’t provide the utility bill and wanted an explanation as to why what I had suggested would not suffice. My answer was basically “ computer says no”..I’m a bit old fashioned and like to think people know why they are asking for, or refusing things. The person on the phone hung up one me. I rang her supervisor who advised they didn’t want me as a cluentX I asked if she had listened to the recording and what aspects of my behaviour she objected to. No, she hadn’t and couldn’t say.Needless to say what I offered has been accepted by a different solicitor. Who are also much more aware of how to foster good relationships and image.

Instructed to deal with probate and subsequently conveyancing, we dealt with Joanne and Kirsty. Both were incredibly helpful, professional, efficient, and kind at what was a really difficult time for the family, and even through the whole of the pandemic. Would definitely recommend.

We went on our estate agents advice and went with these solicitors. We have heard nothing! After a month of trying to proceed with the sale of our house and the purchase of our next. No response to emails. They didn't even respond to our estate agents! Shocking service and we are moving solicitors that is for sure. You don't need the added stress of having an incompetent and ignorant solicitors when trying to sell your house.

From day one Joanne was sympathetic and understanding throughout the whole process, keeping me fully updated along the way, available on the phone or email with quick responses when I needed advice or an answer. Joanne Mercer handled the probate process for my mothers estate. It was a reasonably complex estate, but Joanne handled it expertly. Thanks to Debra Kelly, Kirsty Fillery and Kerry Holloway who handled our application for probate and the ensuing conveyancing. We found DBF accessible and responsive at all stages. Although our probate application was straightforward, there was in fact a late query, so I was relieved that the team were dealing with this at a sad time.

Excellent. I visited for a declaration and I recieved a professional, and courteous service. In fact, I wasnt even charged by the solictor as 'we only took five minutes of his time'.Highly reccommend.
