Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Porthcawl

I've used Specsavers in Porthcawl for many years since I moved to the area. Staff have always been helpful and this week has been no different. Three ladies in particular were marvelous (my optician with red hair, a new lady training and a very young lady who ordered my lenses this morning). I'm very happy with my new contact lenses and can't wait to ride my motorcycle without glasses.

Needed a replacement of glasses I was told couldn't be reordered without attendance to shop...I found this unusual as I reorder glasses frequently and could reorder online (sumthin they stated they had never heard of) through their website with perscription details. Was advised would receive perscription details through email as only an optician could send this and would arrive by 5pm and I explained the urgency. it's 5.30 pm have not received any of my perscription information ... another day lost.On a brighter note when I finally get my perscription of lenses i can buy glasses cheaper and easier with many online shopsWill never use their services again and don't get me started on their charging systemUpdate was emailed perscription after a few phone calls but too blurry too read even for the perfect sighted of household

Got better recently, had issues in the past but it seems sorted more thankfully

Despite several phonecalls and promises of calls back I still am unable to get my second pair of glasses made up in my reading prescription.

Took my 9 year old daughter for her first time here. Had a trainee optometrist and he was amazing! So thorough and put my daughter at ease!

Went there because I've had gritty feeling in my eyes. Had an appointment fairly quickly and a follow up appointment 2days later. A thorough examination later gave me peace of mind. Professional staff who are busy but look after you.

Gave a bad review a week ago as upset with some issues that I was not happy about. However they have contacted me today to apologise and are willing to resolve the problem, so have agreed to another appointment, so it can be sorted out to my satisfaction. Will update again when resolved.
