Funky Functions Wedding DJ services

Having experienced a Funky Functions DJ at my cousins wedding last year, I knew they were the ones for us. Our DJ was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better night, our wedding guests were up dancing all night. Also the light up LOVE" letters they provided looked great on our dance floor. Top class

We booked Funky Functions for our wedding DJ, we spoke to Andrew over the phone and through email and he assured us that he would play whatever we liked. He emailed us our music form to fill out before our wedding, which we filled out and added our first dance and father daughter dance and that we were allowing requests from guests at our wedding to be played.Come the night, some other DJ turns up who isn't Andrew, he started saying he didn't have the father daughter dance song until I pointed out I already had it put down on the music form so he had more then enough time to get it.He happened to find it after that.He also wouldn't take any requests from my guests, specific songs were requested to honour our passed family members and he wouldn't play them.He played his own music for the few hours he was there, none of my guests enjoyed him so the dancefloor was empty for the most part.He was also meant to play until 1:30 am but only played until 12:30 and we were meant to get light up love letters with our booking which we payed for but he didn't bring them.

Andrew was a fantastic DJ at our tipi wedding who I would thoroughly recommend. He played exactly the music we love and kept our dancefloor absolutely packed all night!Our guests were very impressed and everyone had a fantastic night dancing!He was a pleasure to work with in the run up to the big day too and kept everything stress free - quick to respond to emails and to return calls, very happy to discuss playlists and was very professional on the day, thank you Andrew!!

Would highly recommend Funky Functions to anybody who's looking to book a DJ for any occasion. They looked after our wedding in August 2017 and it was such a pleasure to deal with them. From the booking stage to playing the last song of the night we couldn't have asked for a more complete service. Requests were no hassle and this was checked with us before hand. My husband and I used the services of Funky Functions for our wedding and we found them to be very good. We dealt with Andrew initially and we were assigned Martin as our DJ , and we found Martin to be punctual, very friendly and he played a very eclectic mix of music which went down a storm with all in attendance.

We requested the services of Funky Functions for our wedding in Dublin and cannot fault a single thing about the choice from start to finish. Very professional in handling the booking. Nice process to share your music tastes so Andrew can match your tastes for the evening and play a load of tunes you love aswell as a load you forgot you love! Every single person at the wedding commented on how great the evening was and that the music choices could not have been better. Andrew is a gent, easy going and does a great job. Highly Recommend.

We hired funky functions for our evening music at our wedding in may 2018. I was recommended them by our boutique hotel where we were having our wedding as I was finding it super difficult to find a dj.A lot of them claimed to be the best and give the best prices but it just didn't seem right to book them not knowing any reviews etc.Since this was one thing I was struggling with to book I decided to get in touch with them and I heard back from Andrew straight away! He was always very polite and emailed me back when ever I had any questions about the evening entertainment.I felt at ease booking them straight away after the first few mails back and forth with a great review from my dream venue and then the kindness they showed over emails I never thought twice about it.They were a great price which was excellent as myself and my husband were paying for everything. We didn't opt to have a band as I found them to be over the topped priced for what we could afford.Martin was our dj on the night and he was nothing short of outstanding. He was aware that we had a mix of age ranges from 20-70 and was more than happy to play requests from our guests.He went over the plan for the evening when myself and my husband were first introduced to him and got into playing straight away.He played such a great set and everybody was up dancing away all night!We have gotten a lot of compliments about the dj that we had which was great to hear but really the dance floor spoke for itself that night the party went so fast but everybody had such a great time.I'd highly recommend the lads to anybody looking to book a dj for their wedding.

We used Funky Functions for our wedding at Marlfield House in July. They provided music for the meal & the evening party. We can honestly say that from start to finish the team at Funky Functions were fantastic! Great communication, they were happy to take our requests for certain songs alongside mixing them in with their own great range of music. Would highly recommend to anyone! We would like to, yet again, thank everyone at Funky Functions (especially Andrew) for making our wedding day entertainment so seamless and stress free.

We enjoyed the music and sound system, but very disappointed as Andrew was covid positive, therefore he did not attend our wedding, nor supply the 4ft lights that were promised as part of the package.No communication that the lights wouldnt be there on the day. Quite a shame really.
