St Martin's Organic Coffee House
It was okay and was very quiet and quaint, but expensive for what you get (cake was small and tea consisted of a mug with hot water with a tea bag on the side). It is also a bit OTT with the organic side and the very limited ingredients, which means not much choice. We didn't realise but having read other reviews it appears there is a minimum spend of about £5 per person. We went in for coffee and cake, but had we just wanted a drink each they wouldn't have served us. It is beyond me how they make any money.

Lovely coffee house with a homely vibe. The interior takes you back in time! The garden is inviting on a nice day. The pastry is yummy though a bit pricey.. Overall a relaxing, comfortable experience.

I only had an Americano at this lovely coffee house, but it was remarkable. Dark, hot and strong, just like it should be.The food smells delightful here, so I bet it is just as good.Staff is VERY polite. I like that. The setting is just as lovely as all the above, being a incredibly old house in its original state and a back garden that makes you feel calm and rejuvinated.Starbucks nor NERO has nothing on this thoroughly nice spot.

Absolute rip off. Disgusted on my visit yesterday. £4.60 for tea in a paper cup dining in and 35p extra for milk. Soup served in paper cup and charged extra for bread and vegan butter. Cheese toastie, no garnish and very small slice bread. Total £27.70 for 2 teas, one soup and toastie. Reason given when I complained was it was to cover overheads! Place was almost empty and another customer also commented on price....we even had to dunk our own teabag. I appreciate it's economically difficult but ripping off customers won't help. Will never go again..

My first time here. I only found it by following a sign on the main street. It really was worth looking for. The service was good. The soup and bread were absolutely delicious and very filling. The coffee was ok although the cup was quite small for £4.95. It made for an expensive lunch but as a treat it was definitely worth it. The open fire and the historic building really made it special. It was so peaceful with a lovely ambience. I liked the open kitchen idea. All in all a real find. I will look forward to returning. I'm thinking of moving to Chichester and St Martin's is a definite plus point!

If I could leave no stars I would. Absolutely disgusted - asked to leave as I dared to enter the empty cafe with my pushchair. I used to love this place but will never visit again after being asked to leave simply for being a new mother. I’m a conscious and considerate guest but hurt and disappointed by this cafe. Do not bother to visit.

A lovely building that is steeped in history but that's as good as it gets.overpriced ...£3.55 for just a mug of tea (put your own tea bag in ). I went at a friend's request but wouldn't have stayed if on own. I think people are voting with their feet as cafe was very empty. If you have money to burn you'll be OK.

St Martin's Organic Coffee House
I have fallen in love with this coffee shop. A charming coffee shop in Chichester, especially in ambiance and décor. The staff were warm and friendly, and the food hearty and classic — homemade soups, toasties and cakes. Simplicity at its finest. I look forward to returning to my favourite coffee shop in Chichester!

St Martin's Organic Coffee House
The St Martins Organic Coffee House is very traditional establishment with over 40 years of history and that's how it should be taken. The service, food and drinks are served in a classic way with focus on organic and homemade produce. The coffee house is a perfect spot for quiet coffee in the morning, however it can get busier at a lunch time.
