Free car parks may be hard to come by in Derbyshire but this one boasts a small toilet block (locked overnight) next door. Enough room for a dozen cars, perhaps. Provided people park considerately. A good base for walking across the moors in any direction.

It's a free carpark with a toilet. Thin roads to get there. Lots of walks. We walked up the one way road, following the pretty little river that had lots of waterfalls, to the reservoir. Don't forget to visit Errwood Hall and walk along to St Joseph's shrine. Great walking area.

Great clean car park with plenty of spaces. There is part tarmac and the overflow is rough but firm ground. There is a single toilet open from 9-5 which is clean and well stocked. The approaching road is well signposted from the A537.

Beautiful location. There was a toilet there which said it was open 9am to 5pm, but it wasn't open. We also couldn't find a bin, which wasn't a problem for us as we always take our rubbish home if we cannot find one.

Great place for walking, can imagine it gets extremely busy on the drier days of the year, decent Carpark and free to use which makes a change. Definitely worth a visit, but recommend getting there early to avoid disappointment. The adjoining roads are on the narrow size, so extra care is needed if it is busy.
