Play Shack

Impressively big soft play area with a lot of climbing elements and slides. There are also comfortable leather sofas for the adults. Free WiFi connection to connect to if working when the children are playing. Even though it can be very crowded and smelly at times in general it is a lovely place to visit.

I’ve been here with my two children many times, unfortunately today we encountered one member of staff who was particularly unsavoury and even quite unfriendly to the children. Sat next to us was a family who had come down visiting from London, the mumHad three kids with her and as it’s warm weather none were wearing socks- unplanned trip. The manager awkwardly announced over the speaker systemAbout peopleWearing socks, obviously directed at this mum, the lady asked if she could buy some and the manager said they didn’t offer this so they’d have to leave… her kids were very upset and when asked about a refund - as the lady had literally been there ten minutes the manager was really quite rude and unhelpful. Not a friendly atmosphere in here at all

We loved it here! There's a bit for smaller ones with sensory and soft play and areas to climb with them and a slide for babies aswell as the larger area for the bigger kids.. they serve food up until 4.30pm and it looked nice however we didn't have any.. also serve Costa coffee but the basic stuff. Id 100percent recommend this to anyone with children and babies! Lots of parking available too.

The children of 8 and 11 loved their play time today with the other children. Fair price for the children but I think the accompanying adults should not have to pay because they are just there to supervise. Most adults end up paying for 'Costa' drinks and food anyway.Staff are friendly and attentive.Good family friendly toilets and lots of places to sit whilst children are playing.

Good cafe lots of seating cant do cash back for machines has all the parts for kids to have fun foot ball and hoop bit and light sensory part in toddler area my boy likes it parking can be in short supply in busy times .

Had a trip out to Play Shack today with our two boys (6 and 3). First time coming as travelled down from Basingstoke. Overall was very impressed with the venue. The soft play (main attraction) is a decent size to keep the kids entertained but not lost, and has some good slides and obstacles scattered throughout. There is a separate area to the left for 3 and under infants and this also looked to provide a good variety of activities (our 3 year old charged head first to the big kids one following his older brother so we wouldn't know in practice). Staff were good at requesting bigger kids refrain from using the tiny tots area which was also nice to see. Wife and I had a couple of coffees which were realistically priced and we both were content, although this may have just been because we could sit and drink them in some relative peace without the usual mummy

Really fun place. We took our baby today as he was invited to a friends’ 4th birthday party. He LOVED the baby sensory room. Unfortunately we didn’t think it was very safe as older children kept running in and out of the baby room so he only went in for a few minutes.

Place is way too packed for the size, forgot about my sons lunch so took an hour for warmish pasta! Far too hot inside so maybe adding aircon is good. Only good thing is they take cash & my boy had fun
