Good selection of nerdy stuff. I've been a couple times and I do have to say that they don't get many new things in even with months apart from visits. But if you not been there yet, great shop

Good branch, well stocked. Also used for picking up online orders. Found some well priced blu ray disks in store. Have bought some good t-shirts there too. Friendly staff always ready for a chat. Will definitely visit again.

In the mid 80s, I worked in HMV, it's not yhe same as that, as the price of vinyl has went thru the roof but as a music store, HMV in none to bad, you can get every thing here just at price.Varied selection.

THE BEST HMV IN EDINBURGH, IS THE ONE IN OCEAN TERMINAL, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. ALLY AND THE OTHER STAFF ARE ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. I AM A BIG JAMES BOND FAN AND A GUY CAME IN WITH A BIG BILLBOARD POSTER OF FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, AND IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF ME. THATS HOW BRILLIANT BOTH HE, AND THE REST OF THE GANG ARE. I WILL DEFINITELY BE A REGULAR CUSTOMER IN THERE IN THE NEW YEAR. OH, AND I HAVE ALWAYS COME AWAY WITH EXCELLENT BARGAINS TOO. A decent shop, just in a soulless, almost empty shopping mall. Film and music related stuff - plenty of things for us geeks.
