Caffe Verdi

It's a nice place to stop off for a quick coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are nice and quite often know the customers. It's slightly basic looking but you get what you pay for. It's definitely improved over the years

Ordered two vegetarian breakfasts. The scrambled eggs were revolting. I don't know how they cooked them but it must have involved a lot of water, as there was a lot of it sloshing about in the bottom of the plate. The mushrooms were also disgusting. They looked like they were a couple of days old and drenched in a horrible mixture of butter and water. The two teas that came with it (costing extra) were simply a tea bag floating in a mug. They couldn't even be bothered to bring us a pot of tea. I glanced into the kitchen and saw the slovenly-looking cook, whose trousers were covered in food debris, I should have walked out there and then. £13.50 for two meals that weren't even worth half of that. I couldn't be bothered to complain as there was so much wrong with the meals and I just wasn't in the mood to have a row. A horrible experience that left me miserable for the rest of the morning.

Come here very often to do work, etc. Really good food for a great price and brilliant coffee. Very efficient staff and convenient location. I recommend the Brie, Bacon and Cranberry Toasty.

Lovely cafe in midhurst coffee was lovely food was hot and very delicious. Customer service is brilliant. Just once downfall they messed my order up I ask wrap without tomato and they gave me tomato but it was nothing to hassle staff about when I can just pick it out. Would recommend this great cafe

Really disappointed. Take away baguette and sandwich. The cheese in sandwich was grated, always a sign of scimping and little of it. The baguette was so hard it was impossible to eat. Very poor food will not be going back. We're on a long journey and have driven on otherwise we would have returned to the shop.

It was nice to see Midhurst open so decided to have a coffee at Verdi.Table was not cleared but that seems to be more common nowadays.Have just got back on a lovely three day trip from Scotland, great people, fantastic food,Here's the rub tried to pay with a Scottish £5.00 note Royal Bank of Scotland which we all know is legal UK currency.Was advised the owner does not take Uk/Scottish Currency.

Delicious food at good pricesMe and the wife visited for breakfast and both had the super stack breakfast, good local produce that was all cooked beautifully. When asked to withhold the tomatoes they did so with no fuss and added extra mushrooms!Then, as we were camping we decided to take away some treats from the deli section for afternoon tea and had the most wonderful cakes at a damn fine price. All served by a very cheerful lady that made us feel very welcome.Recommended

My partner and I were pleasantly surprised, ham, egg and chips...wow thick slices of honey and mustard ham, a generous amount of chips and two eggs. Worth every penny. I had jacket potato with cheese and bacon, lovely and hot. The prices were reasonable and the staff friendly and efficient. Would recommend and definitely will come back.

Any slower and this place would go backwards! We went in for lunch and ordered within five minutes. An hour later lunch finally arrived. Not as per menu. Two people ordered stake in a ciabatta with red onion, Fry's and coleslaw. They got stake in a part bake with Fry's. Poor service

A lovely cafe in the centre of Midhurst, with friendly staff. The freshly baked cakes are good and generous in size, so good value for money. The menu has a good selection of food, from all day breakfast, to Sandwich options, all freshly made.
