I used been a strong advocate for Wessex, I'm less so now.Had a fault over the bank holiday, no service and no ability to report the issue as customer services are closed over weekends. It took until the end of the day the following Thursday to get a service back despite continually chasing them for an update and progress.The issue was a fault in their cabinet and chamber full of water which couldn't be repaired and took a further two days of nagging to get an engineer out. After all of this, customer services still think this is perfectly acceptable being without service for 5 days, something we rely on as there's no mobile or any other connectivity.

The way I see things is we need compensation when we just sit looking at a blank screen. Most unreliable service yet. Fed up with having to reboot three or more times a month. And because I've got so many WiFi switches I buggered.Not worth the money that's for sure.

DISRESPECTFUL, IGNORANT NUISANCES!!!Workmen KEEP on walking through my private garden despite my repeated written and verbal complaints.They enter via my private wooden bridge, clearly signed PRIVATE and walk through my garden with no regard for me or my young girls. Yesterday they trampled my wild flower area. They really don’t careNow reported to Ombudsman and police.They don’t deserve your custom. .

We have a main router and two boosters to ensure wi-fi reaches all areas of the house. The problem with Wessex Internet is that if you have a problem at the weekend there is no customer service. You have to wait for Monday and I have called twice today, twice promised a call back. It's now 2.05pm and can even get to speak to anyone. It's not the first time it's happened. They are very nice and polite when you get through but from a user point of view it's quite awful. Broadband services are 24/7 and you need cutsomer service to support it to fix the problem quickly in a hybrid working world. When they are in touch - they are very good. I just heard that they will have a Saturday service next month. So hope for no faults on a Sunday

Never thought changing service provider could be so easy. Office staff pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient. Cabling and installation were brought forward due to local team efficiency. Installation method was explained and agreed and carried out as required. Everything works as advertised. Excellent.

Have been with Wessex Internet for 5 years Fairly satisfied until Fibre optic was installed, the installation itself was very poorly organised having workmen turning up with no notice. Since switching to fibre optic it has become the most unreliable and slow connection ever, making working from home very difficult and watching TV impossible half of the time. I have contacted customer service who told us it looks fine their end and if I had issues to just keep switching between the 3 different networks available. Not at all happy and currently looking to switch to another provider.Would not recommend

Been with Wessex Internet for nearly 4 years now. Avoid at all costs, they charge you a fortune for the top amount of data and the service and speed is absolutely shocking most of the time. They do not provide what you are paying for. I’ve tried to run a business from home and it’s almost impossible with their connectivity. Don’t be fooled by their promises of high speed , it doesn’t happen. And if the connection goes out of hours or over a weekend there is no way of reporting it until the next working day. I have expressed my woes via e mail and just get generic replies . AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!! ( Thank god we are moving to a place where we can get real internet )

Subjected to a hard sell last autumn. A representative was on our doorstep 2 or 3 times a week, bombarded with emails and flyers and phone calls. Finally signed up. We are in a BT only area and get 10Mps download and 0.450 upload speeds. Promised the earth. Eight months later, still no internet and minimal contact. Avoid.
