The Milk Barn

Lots of parking, plenty seating indoors, very friendly helpful staff. I had a full cooked breakfast (available only up until 12pm). It was absolutely delicious, everything cooked well. For ice cream, with about fifty different flavours to choose from, I went for a two scoop tub, one scoop white chocolate biscoff and one scoop ferraro rocher. Very generous portion as you can see. It's got a window so kids can watch the ice cream being made and a kids play area too.

I visited here recently, having previously had a very pleasant experience and tasty ice cream.I had a baked potato with cheese and coleslaw, which I must say was delicious. However, it was the ice cream (of all things!) that let the place down for me this time. I chose a chocolate waffle cone for two scoops, which was absolutely filled to the brim (so far so good!), but the ice cream was far too runny and started to drip down my hand and onto the floor before I could even make it out the door. It was a very messy experience!The other issue was the taste. I had triple chocolate with honeycomb, which was ok, not particularly chocolatey, but not bad either. The other flavour was white chocolate with sea salt caramel sauce, which tasted very bland, no white chocolate taste whatsoever, frankly the best bit was the sauce...It had been a while since I last visited, and the place has now become so noisy and hectic with kids everywhere that I will probably not visit again. Such a shame, as the general idea of a milkbar(n) is really unique, and as someone else has suggested, a farm shop selling dairy products, e.g. cheese, yoghurt would be a fantastic idea!

Was beautiful country side desert shop. Tasty ice creams made with freshness. Even had sugar less option too. Will go next time

Great cafe. Fun interior. Friendly staff. Quick service. Good food. The coffee comes in a very large mug. Amazing looking ice cream.

Truly worth a tripPerfect venue. Working Dairy farm that produce their own products. The cafe has such cute decor. Staff are so helpful. Ice cream station and viewing gallery. Menu offering food. Indoor toddler play area. Outdoor playground. Sandpit with bouncing play area. Bike station. Outdoor seats. Dairy free ice creams (finally)

We had a lovely lunch. Service was quick and food was very tasty. Great atmosphere and very welcoming for all.

Fabulous tea room, lovely staff, excellent soup and the best choice of ice cream I've ever seen. Great location overlooking the farmland. Really enjoyed it.

Ice cream is amazing and this is a diamond find for parents with toddlers. My little one is sat contently playing in the indoor play area whilst I can see him and have a nice hot coffee with my ice cream. Absolute bliss!
