Wow wow wow! I cannot use enough superlatives to describe an amzing 2 days we had at MudTrek. Firstly the welcome - Nikki and Jay go the extra mile to ensure that guests have the best experience - no wonder award after award are bestowed upon them. The accommodation is clean, cozy and fit for purpose. The food is home cooked and faultless. The guide Jay is extremely" knowledgeable and gave us probably the "best" guided mountain bike experience all three of us have ever had - the weather conditions were challenging but made the experience all the more pleasurable. The BBQ hut on the last night was just the icing on the cake. Live life . . try MudTrek . . .it's guaranteed to put a wide smile on your face! What a great place we love it here and have been about 6 times.  Once we’ve narrowed down a date, booking is simple and Nikki makes sure she checks in with us on menu preferences, vegetarians, allergies, arrival times, or any other queries in advance.  We usually arrive on a Friday evening after a cheeky tour of some of the local trails.  Mr Mud is on hand for any last minute mechanicals and next day’s route planning.  The food is always amazing.Saturday it is up and bike fettling before a massive breakfast and away they go, either by uplift or from the door.  Mr Mud will have devised an off piste route that everyone can manage, in amazing scenery, with appropriate stops to eat Mrs Mud’s packed lunch and/or nip in the local.Back to the accommodation for the evening will mean even more food (you are unbelievably starving by then), or the amazing BBQ hut experience which we love.  Particularly great for getting warmed up after a day in shorts, in Wales, in February.Everything is great about this place, the location, the food, the host and hostess, the riding and chilling out afterwards.  The forest is on your doorstep or you can plan something even more epic, Mr Mud figures out the best places.  The accommodation is homely, welcoming and well planned.Can’t wait to go back!

MudTrek is based in a stunning part of Wales and perfect for one of the best Mountain Bike Riding locations you will ever find.Nikki & Jay have created a fantastic venue and provide the perfect combination of food, accommodation and riding. Stayed with Mudtrek several times, and intend going many more times. Last visit was with my brother only the smallest group yet, but no less fun.Each time has been a different and memorable experience, The accommodation, food, and guiding are just superb.Thank you Nikki & Jason for an all round excellent service. I have been to Mudtrek many times and every time we get a 5 star service, that is well worth every penny. The scenery is fabulous, the food is delicious, the accommodation is warm welcoming and cosy. Jay and Nikki are always gracious hosts.

Had a great time with Jay and Rich guiding and Nikki's food and hospitality is superb.Mudtrek really is a unique experience for the UK and i whole heartedly recommend a stay.Jay will even teach you how to enjoy the Welsh mud like no other guide I've ridden with.

I've now been to MudTrek 7 times and can honestly say that they were some of the best weekends of mountain biking break I've had. At the time, booking was a manual process by email (I believe this is automated now on the web site) Nikki was lovely, sending us the information or giving us to the relevant sites and pages. Dietary requirements were dealt with brilliantly and the menu choices give you an idea of the spectacular food before you even arrive and when you do, you get shown into the most charming and well - thought out accommodation. Pretty enough to be comfortable, but (knowing the clientele) not to precious for a wet, dirty rider to come back to.The place is stunning. Views over the valley with its ever changing weather and light and no noise (apart from the sheep)Nikkis home cooked meals were spectacular and generous, leaving no doubt that you were not going to go hungry whilst there.Jays knowledge of the area is amazing. His tailored ride can change quickly depending on the weather or the energy or fitness of the riders in the group, but you will always get a beautiful and challenging days riding off piste in the beautiful Brechfa forest (or further afield if you want, even Snowdon if you like early starts!)Nikki and Jay have this spot on, they are both engaging, witty, warm and welcoming. The model is spot on giving riders a tiring challenging weekend with a warm, relaxing refueling place to recover. Welll done guys, a deserved 5*, we'll be back soon (if we can find space in your bookings :))

I guess you are OK unless they screw up your booking, I was brought a experience for a present, I contracted Nicki and gave my voucher code and she told me what it included. Then with only two days before we were due to go she emailed to say her mistake with my voucher there was no accommodation and I needed to pay an extra £325. She did not even offer to discount the extra and when I said I would of expected as it's been booked for ages and it's only two days to go she should offer a discounted but no, human error" means alarmingly she has no responsibility.Even worst was she just forwarded my email to red letter days whom were not responsible at all and even they offered to refund the experience or offered me 20% discount to upgrade
