The main supermarket in islay just be careful for the time you arrive as the close to stock the shop not sire if the is just due to covid or a normal thing

You've got to hand it to the Co-op, they continue to impress with the choice and convenience that they provide for very isolated communities. This one has a good selection of branded foods as well as their own brands. Also a good choice of wines.

Great selection for a relatively small shop. We were hoping to snag a local Islay brew but were instead surprised to find familiar California IPAs. I'd never have guessed that the avocados would be cheaper here than state-side.

I got a dressing down from one of the staff for not wearing a mask even though I'm exempt with under lying conditions and only had my teashirt over my mouth and was told that was no good.dont shop without a mask even if your exempt.

Such a small supermarket compared to the bigger ones on the mainland but its impressed how much choice and room it has.Cant recommend highly enough.If you are in need of something. Perfect for your weekly shop for your caravan/motorhome holiday
