Just had a lovely lunch here.Chicken & Sweetcorn soup was amazing and nice big hot bowl full.Chow Mein pipping hot & so tasty.Staff very friendly.Its obviously a very popular restaurant, at 12.30pm it was nearly full!I'll definitely be going back!

It was a great place to visit. I went for the special fried rice because that's my favourite Chinese meal and I was not dissapointed. I usually don't eat late night so I tried eating just a few portions and before I knew it, I finished it all. China Friend realy made my night and I enjoyed the salt and pepper ribs as well and I even ordered some for take away. Be sure go visit this place when next you are in the area.

It’s so hard to find a decent shop these days but I definitely recommend this place there’s lots of seating available I went quite late so it wasn’t busy. The portions are massive for the price and the prices are so affordable so I ordered a few things and took some home I recommend salt and pepper chicken and salt and pepper calamari the best things on the menu I also got special chow mien which was also really nice my friends ordered sweet and sour chicken which they said was a bit thin and I had some of there’s special fried rice which was really nice. The lady that served me was really nice and friendly.

Generous portions of tasty oriental dishes. The atmosphere is lacking but the pleasant and filling fare makes up for the dearth in ambience.

The food was nice and the portion size was great for the price. It took a bit longer than expected as it wasn't even busy. But they also gave prawn crackers at the start for free which was very nice of them. The staff was nice too. Overall I'd recommend to go there. :)

China Friend is a Chinese restaurant that offers wide range of food menu ranging from Chinese foods to Singapore, Thailand, etc. Rice and noodles are tastefully served. The taste of their food is delicious and always fresh. Their food comes in a big plate and big ration too yet at pocket friendly prices. Their services are quick and excellent. Good spacious seats if you choose to eat there or take away is equally available. Strategically located at the heart of Barking, just one minute walk across Barking underground tube station and less than thirty seconds walk from bus stops. I enjoy their food and would recommend them.

I am surprised at their prices. It’s much cheaper than what you’d get in Chinatown. Food was good! Service was fine. Will revisit.

We decided to visit this restaurant after elsewhere having few vegetarian options. The restaurant was clean and service was fast. The food was exceptional and portion sizes were quite large. The waitress was helpful and brought takeaway containers for us to take home our leftovers. We will definitely be back!
