Had my partner's 60th Birthday party there, couldn't have been happier the service & the buffet was excellent. The only downside I would say is that I was asked half way through the night to give food to the homeless...I would've given everything to the homeless at the end of the night. Management could've warned me that homeless reps would be arriving at some point, this wasn't they're first rodeo with parties etc. Also disappointed with what was boxed up at the end of the night, a few sausage rolls, chicken fillets & cheese rolls. I was told we'll box up whatever can be boxed up". With that said a good night was had by all my family & friends & Nicola- Events Manager couldn't have been more accommodating when party was being organised A+++++ for Nicola...Carmelite... please let you're customers know in advance homeless reps would be arriving at some point so a better/larger amount of food could have been provided & set aside

Stayed for the night in the Japanese Suite. Wow!! Very beautiful and fantastically styled!! Large Buddha headboard above a comfy king sized bed! Japanese style sliding doors into the bath room, amazing room! Live music and a gorgeous dinning area!! We had vegetarian dinner here and it was lush!! Veggie breakfast was also great! Staff went above and beyond to assist! Will definitely be back!!!! 10/10

A very quirky budget hotel. Bed in room 212 was extremely comfortable and I slept very well. Room very unusual and pleasant.Only criticism is a some parts are a little tatty around the edges and fan in bathroom buzzed longer than I liked after turning the light off.Would highly recommend having regard to the price!!

Had my Charity Dinner on 30th June, 2018.The events manager Nicole was lovely & very helpful.Food was a bit delayed( took a while to bring main meal after starter) but the food was beautiful.Loved the room setting.Loved everything provided including our welcome bubbly. You definitely know how to host a party Nicola. Everything was in place. The rooms upstairs were very clean too.I encountered one rude patron outside later in the man. one that did not know how to take a joke nor smile. But one person can not spoil the beautiful work/effort made to give us a wonderful night.I will use the venue always.

Went here for my mum's and son's joint special birthdays. (65+21). From start to finish everything was perfect... The meals were amazing and the staff made a huge effort to make us feel very welcome. I would definatly recommend here for any events you have or just if you want a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. Well done everyone and thanks.

OMG, what a disaster. Absolutely no atmosphere!! Had booked a tipsy tea party for a friend's 50th, have to say the food was good as we're the cocktails but there was children running around, with no adult supervision, bare footed in the bar area where there may have been broken glass. As it turns out the 56 bedroomed hotel had 50 rooms full with refugees which is fine but please look after the children, after all this is the bar area. Maybe let people know when booking hence people can make up their minds if they still want to go there. Really put a dampener on our afternoon but have to say the staff were really nice

The staff are so friendly and helpful....breakfast was lovely, you can pick as little or as much as you want from the menu. They are working with the home office by giving rooms for refugees, I felt very humbled by what they were doing for these unfortunate people. The refugees did not affect my stay in this hotel and I had a lovely time in AberdeenI will be returning to this hotel again.Thank you again Elaine Alan and all the staff for your kindness.Stay positive.

Lockdown isolation for work so it's hard to judge the hotel properly but so far so good. Room is comfy if a little cold, bathroom is lovely with a good tub and shower setup. I've had better 'isolation catering' but I've also had a lot worse, meals so far have been tasty and filling.
