The Blackpool Tower Circus

I’ve been visiting the Tower Circus for many years and can honestly say this years (2023) show is their best ever!!This year’s program was particularly strong with some really great acts. There also appeared to be new lighting (or at least better use of), and a new sound system, and between them, they really improved the whole experience. I’ve always had an issue with the production and over all presentation of the Tower Circus but this years performance has thankfully addressed most of my points.In my opinion, the only other thing I’d like to see them do is to cast an actual ringmaster to theatrically oversee the show and introduce the acts.When describing the Tower Circus to others I usually compare it to the Hippodrome Circus at Great Yarmouth - but say it’s not as good… This years show definitely closed the gap between the two but there’s still a little way to go to reach the same standard as the Hippodrome.If there’s one more suggestion I could make it would be to sort out the refreshment offering. It’s 2023, Diet Coke has been replaced by Coke Zero almost everywhere except the Tower Circus and maybe you could introduce hot dogs and candy floss - both traditional Circus fare which I guarantee would be popular.

Really old school experience of going to watch a circus. The acts are modern, exciting and talented, but you get a sample of the history just walking through the venue

This Circus has something for everyone I personally loved the aquabats and the hilarious clowns which makes it funny for everyone no matter the age. I I would recommend this famous Circus as to any one on a trip to Blackpool.

Phonominal. Everything about this was incredible. The Lighting, band acts and professionals behind the scenes. An incredible show that I cannot reccomend enough . Bucket list material.

We had a blast! The show lasts around 2 hours with a short break halfway through. Although there are a lot of children in attendance it's great for people of all ages since the stunts performed are incredible (no animals are used in this circus). Definitely recommend booking a ticket!

You cannot visit Blackpool without a visit to the iconic Tower Circus. Fabulous entertainment from the edge of your seat motorcycle stunts to Mookie and Mr Boo clowning around. It’s entertainment for all ages. Just love the spectacular water feature in the finale.

Wow. Amazing experience. It was well worth it. You don’t get bored for a second. They keep the audience engaged. It’s so much fun. Everyone is so talented there. It’s a long wait but the wait is worth it. If you show is 4pm they open door at 3pm so be there well ahead to get your choice of seats. There toilets in all four corners of the hall. You can buy refreshments/food in there. Only reception staff need to be more trained and polite otherwise all great. They don’t know the answers for queries regarding tickets and annual passes. There is paid parking close by.

Been before but that was get years ago. Absolutely lived it again. Very funny clown and ring master. The sketch with the champagne" (water) was hilarious. How Mooky kept so much water in his mouth I will never know. I highly recommend a visit. The acrobats are very talented as was the lady doing juggling. When the giant ball came down for motorbikes wall of death I said to my wife there is no way they will get more than 1 bike in there. They got 3 in somehow. Fantastic

The acrobats and skilled people was really good, but the 2 men joking about throughout the show spoilt it, there acts was silly and nothing like a circus, they have lost the quirk and originality of what a circus is about, not over the top enough for me and original.
