Parklands Hotel & Country Club

I have stayed at Parklands Country Club on many occasions over the years when I visit Glasgow. Its proximity to town and location on the gorgeous south side of the city is perfect for my family. The rooms are large and spacious and extremely well appointed. Definitely a 5* experience. The beds are over sized and super comfy, very fluffy pillows, huge spa like bathrooms and immaculately clean. The restaurant has a great selection of food - and the spa, pool and beauty treatments are an extra treat. It is very family friendly and the staff are consistently friendly and very helpful.My family and I will continue to choose this hotel for years to come - due to its excellent location and atmosphere . I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Terrible staff, terrible receptionist and most importantly robbing thieves. When going in as a guest with a member, I was told that the guests basically need to hold my hand anywhere in the facility and cannot go and do their own thing for example use the spa whilst I use the gym. Absolutely ridiculous. They charged the guests £9 and this was not made clear to them before they paid this amount and then had the audacity to say they don’t do refunds. My guests had recently moved into the area and were thinking of joining but after this experience I don’t think they will. Disgraceful.

The Contemporary Art Hotel was a visual feast for the senses. The hotel's avant-garde art installations and modern design created an immersive artistic experience. Our room was a canvas of contemporary style, and we felt like we were staying in a gallery. The staff's knowledge of the local art scene added an extra layer of depth to our visit. A stay here is a celebration of creativity.

Had a fab time here. Very nice facilities. Friendly staff, lovely food. Swimming pool and Spa are excellent. Changing rooms facilities a bit dated, needing refurnished but overall a very nice place. Would stay there again without hesitation. Definitely recommend.

This hotel will always have a huge place in my heart. I got married to my husband on Thursday 7th September 2023 and what a day!!My husband brought me for a night away a couple of months after we got engaged here, and I fell in love. The two of us enjoyed the facilities, the rooms are pleasant and clean with gorgeous bathrooms and some of the cocktails at the bar! So we decided we liked it so much to enquire about our wedding.It was then we met the wedding co-ordinator Jennifer Diamond, quite literally lives up to her last name. No task is too big or too small, she goes absolutely over and above in order to do whatever she can to make your day as smooth and as incredible as possible.A lot of our family travelled and have never stayed at the hotel nor had they been to it before, and every single person just about has said they would go back and it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. This is purely down to the staff who are ready to do whatever you need, no ask is too big a deal. The staff at this hotel are an absolute asset and made the experience incredible.I am so sad it is over but soooo glad we chose Parklands. I can’t wait to come back and stay, it will always be our place.There will never be enough thank yous to show how grateful we really are!Mr & Mrs Connelly x x

The receptionist (Ron! Give this man a raise please) is the kindest, funniest and most lovely Scot I came across here, maybe even the most lovely person of the UK, we had such a warm welcome by him, definitely an amazing way to kick off your stay! The other staff is also very very helpful and amongst the kindest I’ve ever come across in my years of traveling.Well that is just the beginning, now come the rooms. The decor is absolutely amazing, super warm and cozy. The bed is absurdly comfortable and big and the bathroom is extremely clean and modern.The corridors are clean and look very safe because they’re well equipped with a lot of firedoors, there’s carpet and look very safe and cozy just like the room.We loved our stay, the only teeny tiny downside is the location as it is kind-off hard to reach by bus but this is 100% to blame on the bus 38 which almost never shows up on time (if it shows up at all), if you are coming by car the location is absolutely fine in a nice neighborhood.

Stayed overnight bed and breakfast for a wedding. All the staff from reception,bar,waiters, waitresses and cleaners were all so helpful and friendly. The rooms were absolutely perfect clean,comfy beds and a beautiful bathroom with a fantastic bath and shower. Breakfast was amazing and the lady who took our orders was just so lovely,friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return

Gents Locker RoomLockers usage doesn't match with people in gym /pool - very seldom any available. Members using more than one doesn't help - I have been in early mornings and still no lockers so not sure if they are forcibly emptied every night?Maybe move staff lockers to Dry Locker Room where there is always capacity?

Gorgeous hotel and wonderful staff, the room was fabulous, very luxurious and the facilities are great. Good sized gym included in the price with all the equipment you need for any type of workout, badminton courts and a lovely pool! Great breakfast choice and lovely evening menu as well- the Caesar salad was fabulous! Would come again here in a heartbeat.
