Terrible…I used BSR removals to move from Musselburgh, to Port Seton on the 29th September.To start with they turned up 1. 5 hrs late with a small van, it was the biggest they had I was told.I had sent a list to the boss of BSR of the stuff I wanted picked up, thinking someone might come and see for themselves if it needed 1 or 2 trips. They also refused to take anything not on the list, how can you remember everything that you have in your house. (A bigger van would have taken it all)They told me they could only do 1 trip that was all I paid for, when I asked to speak to the boss; I was told he was in America. This cost me £250 for a small van. The result I had to leave a lot of stuff behind, Lucky enough the new people let me store it in the garage to be picked up in a couple of days, when I could get another van.Would not recommend them or use them again

We have used this company before through the bed shop in Edinburgh and they provide an excellent service of delivering and placing furniture ordered. They are professional and on time and nothing is too much trouble. Paul and David are an asset to the company. We were more than delighted with our deliveries.

Don’t bother booking this company, just hire a van and do it yourself! That’s what I ended up having to do! I hired BSR removals for my house move. I provided them a list of everything to be moved in advance. The guys turned up late and then failed to get everything into the van. They hung around for over an hour trying to call the owner who is apparently not available during UK business hours and no other manager exists to provide guidance. When they failed to contact the owner, the guys left with the van and left half my stuff in my house and I had to sort the rest out myself before the new owners turned up! The guys also caused damage to 2 items and I witnessed them trying to hide it. I also had to request that they do not smoke right next to my fabric couch! Every member of staff I dealt with (including the owner who I spent most of the day waiting to hear from) were completely rude and insulting. BSR caused more stress on my move day than if I had moved everything myself. In the end, that’s basically what I was left to do since the van left without half my stuff and refused to come back the same day.

Quick, efficient and friendly moving staff. Nothing was too difficult and everything was moved exactly as we wanted were we wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone

I used BSR for a 2 bed flat removal, they were punctial, polite and did a superb job moving all my stuff. Decent rate offered too. Would reccommend them.

BSR gave a prompt response to my request for a quote, and I paid a reasonable price compared to the big removal companies I had also been looking at. The movers were punctual, friendly, and professional (a testament to their professionalism being that they didn't bat an eyelid at the Golden-Wonder-packet-based detritus that fell out of our couch when they went to move it).
