Stayed with family, good location but not a comfortable stay, beds were poor, and showers didn't work properly. and we got scammed by the ownerWe booked via Booking. com and I got a message from Amy saying I cancel my booking via the website and book direct with them they will offer me a discount on the ferry. at the time of checkout, I realised it was owner James pretending to be Amy and he overcharged for our stay. when questioned he became rude and started threatening us. The charge was £50 more than what I originally booked via booking. comScam alert: Firstly I would not recommend staying here, if you do, don't respond to the message and get lured into some ferry discount. in fact he will overcharge you for the stay.

The male owner was incredibly rude & aggressive on the telephone.Phone up to advise would be arriving later due to Ferry's but that family could check us in earlier if required... He refused became really abrupt and aggressive to both me and my wife and cancelled our booking an hour before we were due to arrive.Said didn't want people coming or going after 8pm even though they advertise as a Guest House.Appalling Manners & Customer Service.

Pre-arrival messages made a big issue of the fact I was not having breakfast with them and this was absolutely fine". This was continued when I arrived. I for no apparent reason had to put my stuff down walk into the breakfast room have my key handed to me told again it was "fine" I wasn't having breakfast with them. Never have liked plates n glasses laid ready. The reception /hall smelt foisty. The statue carpets sagging n warn. My room was clean by look untill it hot to the edges & the carpet tiles no longer fit properly + add the smell of uncleaned vacuum. The bed had grubby cream/now more grey cushions On top of it. Not top sheet

More like Notel, my stay here was a complete none event and the staff didn’t acknowledge me trying to check in so I had to sleep in a chicken shed out the back which turned out was actually the honeymoon sweet. Very Orwellian from start to finish as managers seemed to be operating on some kind of double think system. When I asked for the loo roll to be replenished in my shed, I was given a dirty rag and simply told “clean the last one you used chicken man!”

We received a warm welcome from James when we arrived. We arrived early but he let us leave our luggage there while we went exploring around the island, which was brilliant. We didn't have breakfast but it smelt fabulous. James recommended some great places to eat for dinner and they were. The room was clean and welcoming. The bed linen and towels were all fresh and clean. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Seahaven!

Excellent B&B would recommend it to anyone. The only issue I had was a couple of maintenance issues in the ensuite, not enough to be a problem, but enough to prevent 5 stars on everything. Otherwise staff and location are unbeatable !

A family run B&B just a couple of minutes away from the Cat and Hovercraft terminals. Our room had the view of the beach, not all rooms do, but it is neat, clean and family friendly. I heartily recommend the breakfast cooked by James and served by Jill just for you. They are a wealth of local knowledge and can point you in the right direction for the many attractions of the Isle.I must say that there are not huge TVs and luxury bathrooms of the major chains of hotels but the location and warmth of welcome more than make up for this and I would certainly go there again.
