Brilliant training provider

I started my journey into the engineering world at the age of 16 via an apprenticeship with a relatively small precision engineering firm. Since I had just left school at the time, it would be an understatement to say that I was nervous about going into the working world but all of that was eased by Sigta and their fantastic apprenticeship schemes. Having someone I trust and could talk to about my work issues, who would not only listen but provide advice on how to overcome the obstacle I was dealing with was amazing!They helped me massively advance my skill set and confidence to places that were unimaginable for me prior to starting with them, I genuinely couldn't praise them enough.

Sigta helped me complete my NVQ apprenticeship. My tutor Darryl was helpful and ensured I was completing my work to a high standard.

I was an apprentice through this company . I started my apprentiship in 2002 in mechanical engineering and all was going well , until my company got into difficulty and eventually went into liquidation. I contacted my then training officer who promiced me I would be found another job a.s.a.p. So 6 months later still no contact. I found myself a job and paid for and finished my qualifications myself. Ending up with my HND . 3 years later I bumped into there 'sales manager' who said I was one of there successes. Which I replied 'I don't think So, last time I saw or heard from you was 3 years ago)! So no I would not recommend them . As I have told my now employer , they are useless.

Me and my colleagues had a 5 day novice fork lift training course with Ian at Sigta. He was absolutely brilliant, made us all feel at ease and professional. You can really tell he loves his job. We all passed and now feel completely confident in using a forklift.

I started my career journey with a 4 year Apprenticeship through Sigta, throughout the course of my learning I gained massive insight into my chosen sector, and received a fantastic grounding into engineering thanks to my training officer and all the support at Sigta. It set me up really well for my future career. All the staff are helpful and knowledgeable, especially starting out in an industry it helps to have that kind of support.
