Generally I don't buy my music in hmvs as they're overpriced and don't play good music as you browse/shop. This hmv though was pretty good! The records and cds are arranged nicely and look like they've had some love put into them. Nice how there's a big island of records off to one side, makes finding who you want really easy (the labels are drawn nicley). Staff seem like they actually care about music too which is always great! Thanks hmv :]]

Pretty good for what is ostensibly a small store. Fighting online retailers isn't easy, but this place is clean, tidy, and everything is easy to find. And a few highstreet bargains can still be had.

Large and well laid out store. All the latest releases with all the dad's, c.ds and accessories you could want.

Always good to be able to browse in person through a wide choice of music and films in different formats. In the Spotify era it's still great to have albums you can play on a turntable or CD.

HMV is alright, if you still like CDs and DVDs. They have American food and drinks, anime figures and toys in stock but they are all very expensive and not sure if it's worth it. Want to support a smaller business than Amazon, but sometimes the prices are quite high in comparison. Hope it survives.
